Street size 9=6.5
I made sure to read the other reviews thoroughly before purchasing, and I'm glad I did! As many state, the difference in numerical size from street shoe to ballet shoe is very different. I wear a 9 medium in flat shoes. My feet are a medium width, maybe a little on the wider side of medium. I wanted something to fit snug, so I purchased a 6.5 narrow. They fit very well. The first two wears were a little tight, but they have since molded to my foot and are very comfortable. The only thing I don't like, is that the elastic strap is too tight for me. I have a higher arch, so the strap digs in more than is comfortable. I have been wearing it tucked under my foot. After tightening the drawstring, they stay on, so I'm not sure if I will replace the elastic or not.The leather is a good quality, soft and smooth, well stitched.I bought these so I could exercise on the wood floor in bedroom without slipping in socks or feeling like I was too rough on my bare feet. These can slide when I need to, but don't slip out under me. They're also durable enough for more vigorous exercise moves.I also love the way they look on. Just wearing them makes my ballet workout tapes feel totally different!Overall, pretty, comfy, and well made for a good price!

Size down recommended.
These are great ballet sleepers. However, they are a little big. I always wore size 6, but their 6 was too big and had to exchange them. Size 5.5 was perfect. They are well made and comfortable.

Love the color, fit, leather and comfort of the shoes. Great for wearing around the house.

Looks like a good quality shoe, but sadly was not the right size for me
I'm not able to give much of a review on these, unfortunately, since the pair I bought didn't fit, but I thought I'd at least help out anyone who is looking to buy them with sizing. I wear a size 8 or 8.5 street shoe, sometimes even 9. I bought this ballet shoe in size 7 B, after measuring my foot's length and width, and reading other reviews, I figured that would be a good size. Unfortunately, they are too big.The shoes were too wide when I initially put them on, but you can always adjust the drawstring. Even after I did with mine, they still felt a little bit big. There definitely was extra space around the toes, especially on the outer parts of the feet. I suspect that I'd need to go down another half size or even a full size to get the proper fit. Luckily, Amazon offers free returns, but for my next try on getting the right size, I think I'll just go to a local dancewear store to get fitted, even if I have to pay more.As for the shoe itself, it is a nice rose-pink color, made of leather, has a pre-sewn-on strap (the Capezio shoes I've used had you sew on your own strap), drawstring to adjust the width a little, and a full sole. I've never owned any Bloch products before, but they seem to be a good brand. It's just that the sizing system for their shoes is confusing, sadly.UPDATE 3/14/16: I went to a local dancewear store today and ended up buying the Capezio Juliet 2027 ballet slipper. The 8.5 W fits great!

Love this shoe. Fits large and wide.
I wear US women size 6 or EU 36 in 90% of street shoes. Always medium width. I got my first pair of these shoes in a size 4C (medium). They fit snugly when I first tried them on, but after 4 months of adult beginner ballet (twice a week), they started to feel very loose. I can still wear them, but they would sometimes bug me during center. Also, I had to pull the elastic so tight, that they would dig into my heels without socks on.I just sized down to a size 3.5B (narrow), and they fit much better. Mind you, I do not have narrow feet, so these fit very wide. I’m wondering if I should size down to a 3B just in case they become too loose after some wear, but as the size 3.5B is on sale right now for $8, I will keep them and reassess after a few months. In comparison, I wear sizes 3.5C in the Bloch Performa, 5.5B in the Bloch Synchrony (tho this shoe just doesn’t fit right for me), and 7 medium in the Capezio Juliet.Aside from the sizing, I’m a big fan of these, and their are my leather full sole shoes of choice. I have also tried the Capezio Daisy, but these shoes mold much better to my feet.TL;DR: Amazing shoes. Size down 2.5 sizes from your street shoes (for women) and consider narrow sizes even if you have medium-width feet.

Tricky sizing
These are the third pair that I ordered. Sizing was very difficult, even though I followed the size guide. My daughter wears a size 2 in street shoes. She is on the cusp of little kid sizing versus adult sizing based on the size guide. Since she’s 7 years old, I went with the kid’s sizing guide and sized her down 1/2 size. The 1.5 were tiny. Then I went up to a size 3. Still too small. Finally, I went up to a 4. They fit in length but are weirdly baggy on the rest of the foot. They look terrible, but I need a white leather shoe for the Nutcracker, so it will have to do.

Size down!!
Despite the provided measurements, I had to size Way down. My street shoe size is a 6.5 and after four tries, I finally got the right fit with these ballet slippers at a 4.5. Beware, however, dance shoes can vary drastically from style and brand. Other than the measurement/sizing challenge, these seem to be of great quality. They are comfortable and the elastic drawstring helps for an even better fit.

A great ballet slipper
This is the second time I’ve ordered this particular shoe for my daughter. She grew out of the first pair and needed a new pair. We were so happy with the first pair that I just went back, and ordered the next size up. They are comfortable, a good value for the money, and provide what she needs for her ballet class. Bloch was a favorite brand of dance shoe for me when I was a dancer, and now I’m happy to order it for my daughter, too.

Muy buena marca
Hace años que compro esta marca a mi hija, porque tiene una excelente calidad. Las deja de usar porque no le quedan, pero nunca se han roto o dañado, a pesar del uso frecuente.

perfect fit
Bloch are really the best. This is the third pair I've bought on Amazon, not because they don't last , they do, I wanted different colours. 5.5 D fit me perfectly

Excellent ballet.slippers
These fit well, a bit snug but that's good, because it makes them mold to your feet. And the leather is soft enough to break in after a couple.classes and some wearing around the apartment. And they look dead cute with the long laces and straps across the insteps.
