Excellent product. It is well designed, and very easy to install. This is a good alternative way to save the budget, compared to the pool fence.

These are great! I installed 3 of them on the gates leading into our pool area, and they have been working perfectly for a couple of months now. I installed all the parts directly onto the pool fence, at the top, using some black zip ties. I did the same on the gate for the sensor, made sure that the 2 line up, and it works perfectly. If the gate is opened, you have 7 seconds to press the button or an alarm will sound. Even if you close the gate. If you press the button, the alarm doesn't sound or it stops if it already started. The alarm is pretty loud. If you were outside in the back yard you'd definitely hear it. If you were in the house and it was quiet you would hear it too. In the house with music on you may have trouble hearing it, but I think that meets our needs. One thing I will note is that the unit comes with 6 feet of wire connecting the base to one of the sensors. For us that was overkill, so I just neatly tucked it behind and zip tied it to the fence with the base. Its not the sexiest thing to look at, but it gets the job done. Our pool is safer for having this!

My alarm would goes off EVERY time the door opens and closes. Not sure if I'm using it correctly but it is very frustrating. When purchased, my impression was the alarm would not go off if door closed within 7 secs. The item received sounds a very loud alarm and one must hit the button to silence the alarm every time the door is opened and closed. It's used in the home doorway exiting to the pool area. Normally I would return item but returning from vacation Amazon the return policy had expired by 3 days. Spent too much money for something that doesn't work for me and now stuck with it.

Easy to install and use. Only issue is the wire is too long for our application. Takes a 9v battery not included. We used Velcro to install to avoid screw holes in the door jam. Alarm delay is 7 seconds which seems long if truly needed for a small child entering pool area.

One of the alarms doesn't work properly. It goes off for no reason without opening gate and neighbors get frustrated. I need to return and order a new one just haven't had time to return to the installation location. For now , the customer has removed the battery until I can get there. How long do I have to return the malfunctioning alarm?

We bought this in 2018 and it is still going. I can hear it in my house in certain areas. A little extra help with pool safety. Doesn't take the place of parental supervision, but it is a good product to add.

Works well as a side fence door alarm.

I do not like the delay time I believe it is 7 seconds I would like to have 3 seconds for the application I am using it for
