Kat Von D Studded Kiss Lipstick LOLITA (.10 oz)

I am over the moon for Kat von D studded lipstick. The texture is rich and smooth. It goes on and stays on. I think it has a bit of long lasting stain as my lips look beautiful even by midday after several cups of coffee. It has a delicious, subtle flavor and scent that is fruit and floral based. I’ve bought other colors as well. This one is a beautiful subtle red that will work with any skin tone.

This is the Lolita color that matches the studded kiss sample that comes with three colors. It is not the same color as OG Lolita which is more chestnut pink colored. This is a purplish brown mauve color. Which I love! It’s soft smells good and doesn’t transfer easily. It’s kissable and feels like you’re not wearing anything. It’s a sexy natural color and it’s awesome.

Formula is 10/10. Color is beautiful on all skin tones. I am fair with cool undertones and this pulls brick and rose. I just smear it on top of my nude longwear liquid lipstick and it stays all day even thought coffee, lunch, and being a teacher.

Smells great, it looks great, it glides on nice and smooth. The tube it comes in is cute. I absolutely adore the shade. It's a little darker than what I usually wear but it's beautiful either way. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because it does not last long at all. Wish it was longer lasting.

This lipstick is amazing! Keeps my lips moisturized and has longevity. The color is perfect and looks great on any skin tone. I will buy it again and again and again.

I have been looking for the original chestnut rose Lolita shade from before they changed it maybe a couple years ago, and I thought this was it, since it says it’s “original” and is so pricey, but sadly it’s not. This has a more purplish tone, and not the soft, chestnut rose coloring of the original which made it my favorite shade ever. I’m sure this is the perfect shade for some, but not for me. I’ll definitely be more careful when shopping. I shared the difference in coloring between the old and the new. In the second photo, the lower shade is the original Lolita I was looking for, and the top is this shade.

I've been hearing about this lipstick forever, so I FINALLY decided to see what all the fuss was about - albeit not expecting much, since my super fair skin rejects 95% of lipstick shades I try. Well...I immediately see what all the hype is about. The shade is darker than I was expecting, but so so flattering. It's very well pigmented with a great matte finish, but it's still creamy (and not drying, like a lot of matte lipsticks). This is my new go-to lip color!
