HemingWeigh Hand Crafted All Natural Himalayan Crystal Salt Rock Hexagon Lamp with Wood Base

I've never had one of these salt lamps before so I didn't know what to expect. It's larger and heavier than what I was expecting but that was a good thing. I had to replace the bulb pretty quickly since it burnt out within the first week of use but the new bulbs that I bought are lasting so it isn't any kind of electrical issue, just a cheap starter bulb. I'm the kind of person where I need to see it to believe it and believe it or not this lamp actually does freshen up a room. My sons room can get funky sometimes and that is where I placed the lamp - it actually smelled fresh in there, I was pretty surprised. I live in dry Arizona so my lamp hasn't leaked at all like other people have experienced with their lamps. The light itself is also nice. It's bright enough to provide a soft light throughout the bedroom but not too bright that it is annoying. I will buy more for other rooms in the future.

This lamp was definitely dropped at some point before it was delivered. One of the points is crushed and cracked and the on/off switch and light fixture components of the cord are broken. I had to order a new one. The overall shape of the piece is quite nice, very interesting. The salt has a bit of a smooth polish to it that none of the rest of my lamps have. I'm not certain if this is good or bad. It doesn't seem to affect the air purifying effects but I have no way to measure this one way or the other. I've had this lamp for about a year now. It produces a nice warm glow and a 15 watt bulb keeps it sufficiently warm. I like the lamp, although I would do more research about the polished exterior before purchasing another.

This hexagon shaped salt lamp is absolutely beautiful. When it is plugged in and turned on, it provides such a beautiful, earthy and natural glow. The bulb warms the salt, and you will find it is warm to touch but not to the extent that it becomes too hot to touch. I leave it on all day and night on my desk in my office. I gave this salt lamp five stars because I do love this lamp. The price was in line with similar product pricing and I am very satisfied with this purchase. The wood base is securely attached to the salt and the shape is attractive.

Nice product. Just buy extra bulbs. Lots of them. We had this for 2 months and the bulb is already out after leaving on continuously. Not sure if I noticed the benefits of the lamp but it puts off a nice color and glow in the room. Its our nightlight now...well, actuallly, when we buy more bulbs.

The hardwood, donut-shaped, base was made uneven making the heavy lamp wobble. The way it was packed inside the manufacturer's box, the heavy lamp slammed into the smaller box containing the plastic holder for the light bulb - breaking in-half, the bulb holder's flat "ring". I still got it to work so it inserts into the bottom of the lamp securely. And now two months later, the cheap 15 watt bulb burned-out.The lamp arrived without any plastic bag covering, inside it's box, so it rubbed the cardboard box, making the various tips of the salt look dirty - and they were dirty. Since you can't get the salt damp, how do you clean these off? I scrapped-away a light layer of salt to lighten-up the salt color in these small areas. It was another PAIN. Lastly, I don't recommend buying these salt lamps after I Googled the independent testings for the pros & cons in owning one. It does produce a nice warm-looking glow at night.

looks beautiful! Puts off more light than expected...will update one its 'air purifying qualities' after using it a little longerDefinitely has a positive effect on the air quality in the room! Even my 7yr old noticed a difference in our muggy room over-the-garage play room...which also has a huge bird cage. I truly didn't expect much but after only a few days I am ready to purchase a few more to place all around the house!

Flimsy packaging caused mine to arrive broken in half, but the lamp itself is gorgeous! I glued it back together and keep it at my computer desk- it clears the air and gives the studio a good vibe.
