A Well-designed Hook
This `was a eureka moment, the hook connecting the chain to the toilet tank lever arm continually popped open and jumped off. I looked for a hook with a better closure and could not see one even this one didn’t have an up to date picture but with my picture you can see how the hook is formed ¸like it should be formed. They should sell these hooks stand alone. If they did about five would live in my parts cabinet. About the chain this is a nice plastic chain that I don’t know how thy mold but a beautiful job it is just over 8.5-inches long. My congratulations to the designer for a great job.

Plastic doesn't corrode
I strongly suspect this chain will not fail of the "links sticking on corrosion" issue plaguing the one it replaced. We shall see if it is mechanically robust over time but so far it looks to be an improvement.Used the old flapper valve staple though - the old connector was triangular in shape, which not only centers the connection better but it was easier to reinstall.Granted, I hope not to need another of these for a very long time, but I would consider another of exactly this make and model.

Work as expected
A bit painful to install but works great

It all floats!
I’ve literally just installed this and have no idea how durable it is, but I wanted to point out to everyone that besides not corroding, the plastic chain floats, which means it is less likely to get caught up in or under the flapper valve. 🤞It’s going to be the chain that finally works! One small con: I found the C ring too difficult to keep from rotating around and letting the chain fall off before I could fiddle with a pair of pliers and crimp it closed (see the photo of the instructions on the description). Luckily I already had a tiny spring cotter pin that came with the flapper to attach it. Those more dexterous than I may not be frustrated by it.

Great replacment
I needed to replace my chain for my toilet bowl (Kohler). Found this one with recommendations from Kohler and replaced my old chain. Works just as if it was new (is) and my bowl is flushing and closing as if it was the original one. Should I need to replace this one, I will get it again and price was very good.

It works!
I can’t believe a $2 toilet part fixed my annoying toilet! My old toilet chain kept tangling up after flushing, and it would keep running water and not fill up. I had to take the tank top off almost every time to un-kink the old chain. Now I can just flush and walk away!! Woo hoo!!

Lightweight
Too light for my toilet. Had to hang a weight to stop the valve from flipping over and staking open.

Solves American Standard bead chain tangle run on water fill
American Standard had issues with the ends of the arm and "flapper" tangling, resulting in the valve not sealing and running water till you discover it...They have recently redesigned their valve assembly and basically use this as most of the solution. This couple $ part is easier than removing the tank to put in the new assembly....Plus the new Champion assembly silicone seal replacement is more difficult than the existing design...
