Top Entry Litter Box Cover (Birch, Unfinished)

This design is amazing! Easy to put together. I am sooooo happy I ordered this product. I have always been frustrated with having to find places for the cat litter so my poodle didn't get into it. Dreamed of designing something off the floor that the cat could climb to that doggy could not. Never thought it could be on the floor. Well, Harriett (the dog) NEVER tried to get on top of the box, let alone get inside. And, right away, Eleanor (the kitty) went into it immediately ~ like she had been using it all along. Attractive, easy to lift for cleaning. Five stars indeed....

Solid, sturdy, and really well thought-out re: packaging and assembly. I like that the top has handles for lifting off the litter box and little walls on all sides to keep the litter off the floor.Obviously by most people’s standards I went way overboard with the bright red stain here, but I do think the customizability of the unpainted wood is a plus!

This is a perfect solution for keeping the litter box out of view and from other pets. It looks great and is easy to use.

I was nervous about this purchase, because I was afraid my cat wouldn't like going down inside the hole, but I had to try it since I was desperate for a litter box that my dogs could not raid. Kitty was a tad questioning at first, going to where her other litter box had been (in the same room) and then looking up at me and meowing as if to say, "What the heck Mom?! I gotta go!!" I started out with the litter pan in the cover with the cover totally open on the side so she just had to walk in. After a day of using it like that I flipped the cover over with the hole on top and the pan enclosed so that she would have to jump down in the hole to use the litter box. She still looked at me like I was crazy, but down she went. I love how it totally hides the litter pan, and my dogs have not even approached it to sniff it since I set it up. It is doing exactly what I bought it for. Highly recommend.

This works exactly as advertised and the wood is quite beautiful. Easy to put together, although I wish I had gotten the pre-stained one. I did it myself and ended up with some drips.

Product is all right. You need to know it is not quality. It's thin cheap wood and definitely not worth the price. However, it's the best and cheapest of all the options and serves it's purpose that's why I gave it 3 stars. It needs to cost more like $30. The price alone, for what it is would make it 1 star.

I don't know what on God's green earth possessed me to buy a hundred dollar private suite for my cat to crap in. It might have been an unhealthy lack of socialization, an all-encompassing loneliness for which the only remedy was a make-believe wonderland for my vermin feline.But, now I must accept that it's a part of my life, and it looks pretty damn good. It's a little confusingly large, too like an outhouse if you have a drunken guest. (Trust me). However, I can sit on it to paint my toenails with my glass of wine while I contemplate my life decisions.This is a high-quality piece of self-reflection.
