Ordered this as I wanted to rock the Robert Mccall look.
After watching one of the Equalizer films and being in the market for a G-Shock replacement I noticed this watch and found out it wasn't a prop but an actual consumer available item so I had to have one. I usually go down the Casio route and have been putting off replacing an elderly (2008) Mudman but thought I'd give something else a try. Not really much to say really, it tells the time, has a compass feature (which you have to calibrate) tells you barometric pressure etc. Things I like about it, its incredibly comfortable to wear to the point you feel like you're not wearing a watch and its not as chunky as my usual Casio. The battery is just a standard CR2032 cell and the back cover can be opened with a thin coin or butter knife.Downsides, and there's only one as far as I'm concerned is the display and its readability in low light conditions. Its readability is very poor, even with the backlight which is very subtle. Outdoors and in bright environments readability is excellent, in total darkness with the backlight on its also excellent but anything in-between, reading anything but the main time can be a struggle.Still an excellent watch though.

Not GPS
I specifically ordered this watch as a GPS watch, which is how it was described in the product description. The idea was to upgrade from my much loved Casio Altitude measuring watch, to one which would also be able to use GPS for navigation on featureless moorland. (There is a lot of it in the North of the Peak District!)I was very very disappointed when the watch arrived, as nowhere in the "Quick User Guide" did it explain how to use the GPS. Yes there were instructions on setting the time and date (pretty intuitive really) and the altitude ( hang on, with a GPS watch, shouldn't it know the altitude?) and also how to calibrate the compass, but nothing on how to access the GPS. It turns out that this is because it doesn't have GPS capability. Thankfully, Amazon accepted my return request. As for the rest, well, I had read a number of the reviews which said that the display was too dark, and I totally agree. It might have been OK if you wanted to pose about, with a "stealth" watch, but I had bought it to be able to read it, in conditions where daylight can vary from bright sun to dark overcast skies and rain. I doubt that it would have been easy to read in any such conditions. All in all, I could not recommend the watch for the purpose for which I had bought it. I am sticking with my old Casio!
