Purchased in August, planted in Nov already seeing growth
I live in humid zone 9b, so I planted it after Thanksgiving. It looked dead when it arrived because it was dormant. I kept it inside a cardboard box until I potted it. On warm days I cover it with ice cubes to keep it cool. It has 7 eyes/buds and looks like it’s establishing great.

Has not grown
I planted this flower at the same time, in the same manner, and in the same soil but it has not grown at all. Not even a breaking of the soil as the others. Have not seen a single sprout. Very disapointed since I paid a lot of money for tshe plant.

Mildewed in a plastic bag.
Plant was in a plastic bag tied up inside of a paper bag. When I opened the paper bag, the plastic bag with the plant had visible mildew inside. The plant was mush. I am sticking it in a pot in hopes that it will revive, but I am not hopeful. It does not seem smart to place a living thing into a plastic bag then tie it up so that it has no air escape, so any moisture will now fuel mildew and mold. See photos.

Very dissatisfied both peonies that I ordered from Amazon.
Peony came in dry and dead - it was not planted, thrown in the trash. I would not recommend. Came in a box directly from China. I ordered two and both were dry and dead.
