Decent edging and nice depth
This edging is made of a plastic-like material (made of recycled material) that is fairly simple to install. Assuming that your ground is moist (I had to wet the ground in advance since we have had little rain), you simply dig a trench and tap the edging into place. A rubber mallet works well for this. I do not like the blue line that is there for measurement. To me, it is an eyesore but thankfully, it is easy to cover it up with mulch or gravel. The edging flattens pretty easily - I did stretch it out in the sun for several days before using it. The main advantage to this edging is the depth - it is 5" as opposed to 3" that is available on a different version of the same product. In my experience, grass roots will go deeper than 3" and come up on the other side where you don't want it. 5" seems to be a reasonable depth. Time will tell if the edging stays in the ground. Many edging products like this will easily heave out of the ground during the winter months even when you stake them in. Time will tell.

a little flimsy and hard to work with...
These were a little flimsy as I attempted to use them on one of our side gardens this summer. As I was installing them, it was difficult, if not impossible, to get away from a warped look. I appreciate the marked line show you the depth of how far they should go in, but (again), the way they look and laid as I unraveled them was such a turn off for me. Another positive, however, is their color - I really appreciated the more natural brown look as opposed to the black vinyl that other edging products appear as.

I like the blue line
One reviewer complained about the blue line. I suppose some people might think it's unsightly. Perhaps after a few months and a bit of rain it will just wash off. However, I like that it helped set an even edge across. To begin with, you need to use a rope or a hose to create a layout of your edging project. You need to install the edging by aligning it with the blue line and leaving approximately three quarters of an inch above the ground. This will create an effective root barrier and at the same time prevent it from interfering with any type of mowing machine you might have. Then you need to secure the edge with a metal stake placed every one and a half meters. Then you connect 7 meter lengths by overlapping 6in and secure with two metal stakes. In other words, you want them to overlap and you clip on these metal stakes to make sure they stay tight. It's a pretty simple project to do. This will help you stay professional.

A nice, sturdy composite edging
When I received this product, it was actually a lot heavier than I expected. Since most of the edging I had worked with in the past was that thin plasticky stuff, this composite material was a bit of a happy surprise. The edging is thick and takes quite a beating when installing it. It feels very substantial and like it will last a while. It also has a faux wood pattern and looks much nicer than the plain black plastic edging.

Durable but flexible
Nice edging. Easy to work with and tap down into place after getting a bit if a trench started. Sturdy but flexible enough to get into shape to use. Will see how it holds up over time. Some deteriorated after a few years.

Lose The Blue Line!
I was given another size of this to review earlier and it didn't work for my needs. This will work better because it is taller. I like this edging. It is attractive, unrolls fairly flat and is easy to install. I have only deducted stars because of the awful blue depth line that sticks out like a sore thumb. Ghastly. I turn the line to the inside and try to cover it with mulch, but if you set the edging that low, it sort of defeats the purpose of keeping mulch or stone or whatever in the place you want it. Not a great idea. Lose the line and it would great!

Not Magic, but works.
When the description says it unrolls flat, I guess I took that literally, but it doesn’t unroll particularly flat without some user effort. Other than that, it works OK. You’ll spend some me time digging a slot to put it in and filling it in with dirt afterwards. Looks OK.You’ll robably want to take the extra time making smooth curves.
