Reebok was founded for one of the best reasons possible: athletes wanted to run faster. So in the 1890s, Joseph William Foster made some of the first known running shoes with spikes in them. By 1895, he was in business making shoes by hand for top runners; and before long his fledgling company, J.W. Foster and Sons, developed an international clientele of distinguished athletes.

Have had better.
I'll give the retailer kudos for shipping as quickly as they did; the cost makes the shoes eligible for free shiping. However, honestly, comparing them to the very same shoe that I am replacing, I can see where one might question as to if these are truly Reeboks or not. They are narrower, but not so tight that hopefully they will stretch. I couldn't have gone any larger, or the toe would have been too long and it is the size I wear now. I suppose time will tell, but I do feel they aae of poorer quality than the Reeboks I already own. They may indeed be mock-ups, still, side-by-side to my other shoes, the only noticeable difference is that the padding off the tongue isn't as full. This is a very old-style shoe from Reebok, its a little amazing that they're even available anymore, which may add to the idea that they are mock-pups. Still, what should one expect for fifty bucks and free shipping? Nevertheless, I think next time I'll shop around for a different style.

Width
I gave the Reebok BB4600 Ultra Mid Basketball shoe a four star instead of a five only due to the shoe running a little narrow. My husbands foot can run on the wide side and I probably should have tried to find the shoe in a wide but have been unable to locate it in this style. The shoe is great quality, they look great and they hold up well over time. The last pair I purchased for my husband are looking a little shabby but they have held together well for almost two years of regular wear and he still uses them for yard work, etc. I purchased two pair for him this time around just because these can be difficult to find. They are my husbands favorite shoe as he use to play basketball and he likes the ankle support. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a little more ankle support and a high quality nice looking shoe.Take care

but I feel better about it
Hey,I've owned Reebok High Tops for many years but the last pair I bought will be just that ... The Last Pair! They begin to fall apart a week after I first put them on. I contacted the company but got nothing but the run around. Too many hoops to jump through without any satisfaction & I'm sure the Reebok company could have sprung for a replacement pair of shoes. I was, am not, nor would I try & rip anyone off. I even called on the phone, e-mailed & wrote several letters explaining the situation, all without any results. So I mailed all the communications I had sent before with the cover letter saying that I would never own another pair of Reeboks even if they send me a replacement today. I'll send them right back! "RETURN TO SENDER" -- WILL NOT ACCEPT" I just purchased a pair of Adidas High Tops & I sent the picture to Reebok telling them ... "This my next Athletic Shoe purchase!" I know they really don't give a Fat Rats A.. but I feel better about it. So guys, don't buy Reebok shoes. They're Junk!-Jeep-USN.Ret.-Pasadena, Md.

Measure accurately before buying
Excellent product. I've worn Reebok BB4600s for over 25 years as my primary footwear. I must have 10-12 pair around the house in different stages of wear, and always have a new white pair on the shelf in my closet. I wear an 11W (wide) US, always have but ordered the 11M (med). Had to send it back....too short and too narrow. That was my error. Amazon made it good on the return. Ordered a 12M thinking the width would be more on the 12 v 11. Nope. Same width, too narrow again, but gave them to my son who takes a 11M and the 12M fit perfectly. These run extremely narrow. Made in China. I have several 11W pairs made in China and have always been true to size.

Sizes are way off.
I normally wear a 12 but since some of the reviews said the sizes run small I went for the 12.5. As far as length that was just about right. But the width is way undersized and for the instep, upper part of my foot behind my toes, they were way small and too tight wear. They were so far undersize in that area I could hardly get them to lace up.I think this pretty well proves that they were made in China where they have no idea of how to proportion the shoes for large American people. So only order these shoes if you have a long but skinny foot with a very low or small instep.Otherwise the shoes seemed to be well made, fairly light, looked nice, and could have been quit comfortable, if they were the right size.

Good thing I'm 60
When I was younger and actually could make a cut I'd have blown out these cheaply made shoes the first day on the court. Now all I do is shoot 3 pointers for an hour twice a week, and they're OK for that, but I can already feel all the support going out of them.High top shoes are supposed to give ankle support, but if the laces don't go any higher than they would on a low top shoe, the upper is merely decorative. That's the case here. Thankfully these days whenever anyone else wants to play I leave the court so I don't blow out a knee or something.

A little less than I expected
These are nice "kicking around" sneaks. I can't imagine playing any serious basketball in them. I thought they ran a little narrow. They seemed a little light to me too. Not in the "good running shoes" sort of way but that they lacked substance and durability. Have only worn them a couple times and they are okay but they do annoy my "bunion". I thought the price was okay and that is why I went with them but I don't think I would buy them again though.

Not As Good As The Original But OK
The back of this shoe is like the original, but I was disappointed in the toe appearance which is not as round as appears in the picture. It's just not as cool as the original toe. I was also disappointed that they originally felt tight. The originals would always feel pillow comfortable from the moment you stepped into them. However, after a few days, the comfort came in. And the look is not awful. So it is still worth the price though I would probably look for the original or something else next time.
