I'll Admit It, I Love The Spice Girls!
I listen to all kinds of music. From classic country and southern rock to beauty and the beast metal to faire music and Dixieland jazz, I listen to pretty much everything. The only genre that I have a tendency to avoid is pop music, with just a few exceptions over the years. These exceptions include Cher, Pink, Kesha, Huey Lewis and the News, and Elton John, among others. I have no problem telling people that I often crank up "Die Young" and "If I Could Turn Back Time," and do so frequently whenever I'm discussing music with friends. I'll often use some heavy-handed reason for appreciating these artists (Pink has a strong work ethic and positive attitude, for instance), but every once in awhile I love a band for no reason other than for the fact that they are fun.The Spice Girls are fun.Sure, they have that whole "Girl Power" message thing going for them, but ultimately their music just makes you want to dance around and be silly for a bit.I was in college when Spice was released, and I remember the instant shame I felt among my peers whenever I revealed to them that I enjoyed the band. I developed crushes on all of the members of the band at some point (but Sporty and Baby will always have my heart), and I knew the lyrics to all of their tracks. A few weeks after my revelation to my friends, I had no shame at all proclaiming that I was a fan of the Spice Girls. The album itself is a very solid pop project. The anchor tracks are obviously "Wannabe" and "Say You'll Be There," but every song on this album is good in its own right. The only tracks that are somewhat lacking are "Naked" and "If U Can't Dance," but even they add to the strength of this album in their own way.I won't waste any time going into an in depth discussion of each track. This is a pop album, after all, and depth is something that isn't always necessary for a great pop album. This is fun, danceable music that is apparently timeless, since my fifteen year old daughter belts out many of these tracks with me as we're cruising down the highway. If you love feel-good pop tunes, you're going to love Spice. It's an excellent pop album that will still be playing long after I'm gone.

Nice CD
Spice is forty minutes and four seconds long and was released in the United States on February 4, 1997. The Spice went 7x Platinum and reached #1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Albums chart (5 weeks at #1) and #2 on the U.S. Billboard Top Pop Catalog. The CD produced three top ten songs. They are: Wannabe, Say You Be There, and 2 Become 1. This is the Spice Girls debut album. The music is of A minus quality. I just did not think all the songs on it were that great. Still it is nice dance music. Was told it would be in good condition
The group, the album, the music is iconic. No complains there. My only complaint is with the seller. I’m a collector, and I contacted the seller before purchasing to confirm that my vinyl would be in good condition (i.e. no visible bends or tears in the slipcover). I was assured these vinyls were in perfect condition. However, I received one that had a giant noticeable bend across the entire top left corner. The packaging was excellent, so I can only assume the damage didn’t happen during transit. The only reason I went with Amazon is because it was cheaper than shipping this Special Edition on eBay for double the price from the UK. If I had known it would’ve been bent, I would’ve rather doubled my money to keep this Special Edition looking SPECIAL! Dissatisfied.

The first album of the greatest girl group!
I have loved the Spice Girls since their worldwide recognition in the mid 1990's and I still enjoy listening to their music today. I finally own the album that includes my all-time favorite Spice Girls song: 2 Become 1.I never owned the first album, so buying it was first on my shopping list. I have only one problem with the item when it arrived and that problem is the two cracks in the jewel case. They don't do anything to negatively affect my love for this album, but I wish that FedEx (or UPS, whoever shipped it, I can't remember) took greater care with fragile items during shipping.Everything else is in perfect condition, so I'm assuming that this was a rare accident.

Spice Girls ON VINYL?
Obviously a goods album for any fan of the Spice Girls. I liked the fact that they had this done for VINYL keeping the same cover and back cover.

Spice up your life !!
This is an awesone follow up album from 1997 to the Spice Girls’ debut album the year before. It still sounds fresh and different 20 years on. All the girls have great voices. The song selection, production and arrangement are perfect. The vinyl sounds great, including the packaging and artwork. Highly recommended, especially for Spice Girls fans like me. Enjoy your music people !! x

SPICE UP YOUR LIFE.
It's no secret that the Spice Girls dominated the 90's pop scene and for good reason! This is pop at its finest and indeed purist. So ahead of their time in so many ways and each song is a consistent builder. To finally be able to own this on vinyl was an unexpected pleasure. A must buy for any Spice Girls fan or indeed for anyone who finds themselves stuck in the 90's like me :) You forget that a lot of the songs on this album, weren't actually released as singles but somehow youy still know all the words as if it was 1996 yesterday.I really hope they release their second album Spice World on vinyl too!

Classic album reissued on vinyl
I bought this item as i am a massive Spice Girls fan! I own the original 1996 pressing and wanted to see how the 2016 pressing version stands up to it!The packaging is the same and the sound is better but to be fair the original vinyl is 20 years old! The 2016 version also comes with a download code : )5 classic pop singles and 5 unmissable album tracks this album soundtracked my youth

Still a great pop album and it's fun!
I always loved Spice Girls, they are a part of my childhood, and listening to the album again (before, I listened to tapes of SG), it made me so happy. Not only does the album remind me of the 90s but also, the album is still pretty good and just fun.And there's nothing wrong with fun, right?
