Good value for the price; missing instructions; could use more padding to raise phone in holder
[UPDATED: several updates, in-line below][EDIT to reflect company's response]OK, I had an issue with this case because there were no instructions included and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to make the zip case stay on the base. It seemed to just fall off.Seller responded promptly and with their information, though it was not entirely clear, I was able to get the case to work properly: the trick is to slide the prongs of the base into the slots in the back of the zip case---then to press the zip case sideways firmly until it clicks. This holder is a good value for the price. Seems well-made and like it won't fall off; also appears that it will withstand a moderate rainstorm, perhaps even a hard rain. The fit is a little loose with my Galaxy S4, even with the 2 included pads, which makes it a little difficult to work the touchscreen, since the pads don't keep the screen pressed up against the clear plastic window, but it's do-able. Should add that the zip case will allow a case such as my Incipio to fit, though that makes it a little tight on the sides.All-in-all a good value for the price and am very satisfied with seller's quick response. I will be doing a 55-mile bike ride this Sunday and will update this review if I have additional comments.[Update:] did the ride, which was more like 60 miles, and we climbed 2,543 ft. and descended 2,552 ft. up and down some hills above a 10% grade, at speeds up to 28.4 mph. The case stayed put, although the angle-adjusting screw did loosen a bit by the end of the ride, presumably from all the fast, bumpy downhills. Then again, I didn't pay much attention to how tight I set it at the beginning. Also should note we drove 3 hours to & from the ride with the bike mounted on a carrier outside the car, and the holder was fine.[Update 2:]Also took the holder on 2 mountain bike rides totaling about 6 hours over varied terrain including some really fast and bumpy black diamond descents, with the same exact results. I need to spend more time looking at the angle-adjusting screw to see if the problem is me or the case! ;-)[Update 3:]Have adjusted the screw and now I have no trouble with the angle-adjusting screw. It stays tight now.I did have some continued issues using the touchscreen through the bag, as noted above. I'm going to try to cut some additional foam or something to keep it pressed against the top of the holder, should work better then. Manufacturer should consider adding another foam insert, the Galaxy S4 is extremely thin. I'm also wondering if my Incipio case may be contributing to the issue, as it may be preventing the phone from going all the way into the top of the case; I need to try it without the Incipio and will report when I do.[Update:] It works a little better without my Incipio case, but still needs something to press the phone tighter to the top plastic. Oh well, what can you expect for the price, I will cut some foam and that should take care of it.

Works most of the time, but in heavy rain ...
Works most of the time, but in heavy rain it will still let water into the case. I tested without my phone in it, but I would say that it wasn't enough water to damage the phone.

... sticky Velcro to the back and it worked just fine.
The case vibrated off the brace so I attached sticky Velcro to the back and it worked just fine.

underwhelmed
Its a tight fit for the phone and the mount is a bit flimsy. I wont trust my 400 dollar phone in it on a bike. Maybe if it were inside a car where it didnt get the jarring and didnt have far to fall.

Works great.
Read previous reviews about it falling, but as long as installed properly and clicked into place it works well. I use it regularly with my Incipio hard case and it fits wonderfully. Only draw back is screen sticks to plastic casing.Serves its purpose, so I'm happy.

Cannot really recommend..
I used this on my regular bicycle commute for 2 weeks with my Samsung S3.The plastic mount has cracked so I have to figure out an alternate means of mounting. It worked well until this occurred and allowed me to listen to music without worrying about ear buds or blue-tooth.Cannot really recommend...
