Everyday Portuguese Home-style Cooking - 50 Great Recipes Paperback – July 23, 2013

I have quite a large collection of cookbooks, most of which sit on a shelf somewhere, unused. This book, however, is an exception. This sits on my kitchen counter and I use it so often. This book is a must have for anyone who loves Portuguese cooking. I remember growing up as a child in New Bedford, Massachusetts and having all this delicious food, but had no idea how to make them. The photos inside are black and white, and the recipes are easy to follow and easy to understand. I can't recommend it enough! It's well worth the price. It doesn't get any better than this.....love this cookbook!

Some super ideas for flavorful and hearty meals with great Portuguese ingredients. E-format great for iPad use in kitchen. Love the many uses for chorico.

Low quality with grainy black and white photos. Food is Portuguese American not traditional Portuguese food.

I like the simplicity of the recipes and ingredients along with some education on Portuguese foods. Can't wait to try cooking some of these!

Very disappointing. The recipes are not "traditional Portuguese," but common Americanized modifications. The paper quality is very poor and the black and white photography is terrible making the food appear unappetizing. The recipes in this book only slightly resemble what was served in my family or what I have experienced during my visits to Portugal.

So perfect book for me. I loved it because recipes are so easy to make.
