I don’t know why I waited so long to get these dusk to dawn lightbulbs. They work perfect ! They make me feel safer so people don’t know when I turn in it off my outside lights; especially if I’m away. I don’t own a security camera, so these make me feel safer. And….. I never forget to shut my lights off !!

Raise your hand if you are forgetful *scans room for other hands raised besides my own* These bulbs are installed on each side of the garage door. Wall switch is constantly on. Bulbs turn on at dusk and turn off before I rise. Another problem solved. Is it just me or do ya'll seek items to simplify your life? Scans room again *whew, I'm not alone* The color temperature emitted from the bulb is 3500 Kelvin. I see some confused faces in the audience, I am sure several of you may be thinking what in the world is a Kelvin. Just as lbs are used to measure an adult human weight and mph measures the speed of automobiles, hurricane wind speed, Kelvin is a measurement of the color of light denoted by the letter K. For example, 2700K is the measurement of warm light or what we may be accustomed to seeing or grew up with. 5000K is the color of natural daylight. I myself prefer a value between 2700K and 5000K for household lighting. The bulb has a color temperature of 3000K. Also the bulb emits 800 lumens, no its not a group of guys 😀 Lumens is the brightness of the light. This particular bulb is equivalent to a 60W incandescent (older bulb technology) bulb output but only uses 9W instead of 60W of energy. If your parents or spouse follows you around complaining about you leaving the lights on throughout the house and it costing money to leave the room and not turn off the light(s) then it may be time to invest in LED bulbs. The original investment per bulb will probably be slightly more expensive than an incandescent bulb but an LED bulb has a much longer lifespan which means it will pay for itself eventually, and you will be doing a small part to reduce your carbon foot print. I no longer need to remember to turn the lights on and off outside! Onto the next problem.

I love these bulbs. I can leave the power on when I go out during the daylight and the bulbs are off. At dusk, they automatically come on and my porch is lit for when I come home. They are great especially during the short days of winter. I have installed them in all my porch and yard lights.

Okay, these work great while they work. I've found that the claims about thousands of hours we'll get out of LED bulbs, no matter what brand, is a lot of hype. At the prices per unit compared to incandescent or even CFL's, you really should expect long life. A little more than a year in, and I've gone through 3 of the 6 bulbs. :(

I purchased these TriGlow bulbs for my garage outside lights, and I have to say they work perfectly - automatically turning on when it gets dark outside. Exactly what I wanted. And they have the standard bulb base, so it was simple to replace the CFL bulbs with these long lasting and energy efficient bulbs. I like the white light they emit - seems to be brighter than the yellowish CFL bulbs I used prior. Anyway, just wanted to thank you for the great product!

We put these in a couple of outdoor locations where it would get especially dark at night. Love that we don't have to mess with finding the light switch anymore. Also like that we can glance up at the barn & keep an eye on that area without leaving a light on all the time or turning it on & off everyday. Will definitely buy more when these go out, but they've been going strong for a long time now!

Light is nice and bright.

These lights sit on either side of our garage and light up every night and turn off every morning. they look just like normal light bulbs with no odd appendages or shapes to make them not fir in an enclosed light. The light is bright white and very bright.
