ColorBok 73428 Sew Cute Needlepoint Paul Panda

This was one of our Summer To Do projects. First time fof my boys 7 and 6. They are really enjoying it. **The needle is NOT plastic**

Santa gave this cross stitch to my 8 year old son this year. It is a great project for him, as a beginner. This is great for honing fine motor skills and feeling a sense of accomplishment as you progress. Kids are so over-stimulated these days that I think they can really benefit from a slower-paced activity that keeps their hand busy and their minds calm. The kit has the colored plastic mesh, 4 colors of yarn ( black, white, blue, and brown for the eyes) and instructions. The instructions seemed to make things a bit too complicated, but the picture on the box is a great guide. I am going to buy this for my niece’s upcoming birthday and hope to fine another design my son likes. The needle is difficult to thread with yarn, but we putt a little scotch tape on the top of the yarn to make it flat and then it went right in.

You don’t have to poke a hole through they already put a hole in it so you can put the needle right through the hole that is why I like it.

Kids loved it, but the printed paper pattern has 5 more rows than the pattern printed on the plastic mesh. Follow the mesh pattern instead and you'll be less frustrated.

This is simple hash stitch activity while school is shut down. 6 yr old likes it mostly without guidance after getting her started.

The panda plastic canvas did not match the sewing key and did not fit into the frame.

Viene como si hubiera sido utilizado y no trae la aguja. Llegó una bolsa vacía. Muy mal empaquetado y sólo causó frustración por que fue un regalo.
