California Sun Shade Shade Sail Kit Triangle 15ft x 12ft x 9ft Desert Sand

Some of the previous reviews suggest this Sun Shade is impossible to install tightly with relation to the edges drooping or sagging. I thought that was the case at first for my install but realized that once you have the anchor points precisely at the far extremes of the three corners, it tightens up just fine. The shade itself will stretch quite a bit and, in fact, you need to cinch this up tightly to ensure it will handle any wind. I have slightly tightened the stainless turn-buckle a little at a time over the last few days since install and it is gradually tightening the long edge of the sun shade. I did not want to over tighten but wanted to make sure it had some time to stretch and settle in after the install. You will not ein the attach picture that one edge is still not as tight as I hope it to end up.I live in Arizona and am looking forward to these units keeping some of the sun off of three of my HVAC Air Handler units mounted outside my main house. I ordered one shade in tan and one in walnut and criss-crossed them and I must say it makes a nice aesthetic statement while blocking the sun quite nicely. Hardware included was nice but I did require a few concrete sinkers and some lag bolts to secure this to the concrete walls I used at two locations and a screw lag in the third location fastened into the wooden trim board of the main house roof area.Very pleased with the quality and the price of the products.

Great product - very pleasing to the eye and provides plenty of shade. It is not waterproof, which is good so you don't have water build up. Despite the mesh like material, when the wind blows, it does act like a sail so make sure whatever you post it on is sturdy.

Hello Amazon. This sun shade seemed to be what we wanted. We installed this over our southern exposure deck. It does not block any sun. We are disappointed about this. Otherwise it is a nice peice of fabric. I think we actually needed a larger sail and one that was either darker or thick enough to provide better shade. This was an experiment for us. We miscalculated and could not get the right angle for hanging it. Disappointed.

The shade sail came exactly as described with the parts as promised. It was relatively east to install and although it has stretched out a little due to the elements (rain and wind), it is still up and doing a fairly good job of blocking out the sun. To prevent the stretching, it is ideal to remove it when not in use.

Loved our sun shade, however, after 2 years it ripped at one of the corners.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a low cost solution and this was a perfect fit. The quality was very good for the price paid. It is made from woven plastic and it does stretch some but for the price this is a good product. I was especially impressed with the stainless steel hardware that was included. It is not water proof and I understood that when I made my purchase.

The shade works great, but the quality seems just a tad less superior than the NewProsource Shade sail I got which is an equilateral triangle. It just is holding on to the wrinkles that were created from packaging.If you want more reviews, visit the website AllMomsArePerfect.com.

Not bad, quality and thickness is pretty good. Only down fall is that it is very small. I tried the larger sunshades but I needed the right angle sun shade for the corner of my hosue. I wish it was twice the size.

When I planted my backyard garden a couple of years ago, all my neighbours had huge Elm and Ash trees so everything I planted had to live in shade. With the beetle infestations, those beautiful trees were gone and my poor garden was suddenly baking in full sun. I figured this shade sail would be just the ticket and it was, although it cast a stronger shade than I expected. The sail is really well made and withstands some really strong winds. Equally impressive is the mounting hardware, which is pretty much sailboat quality. The hardware makes taking the sail down and putting it back up pretty easy. The downside is, it is really beige. Boy is it beige.

The item arrived swiftly! The shade itself is nice quality material and as stated in the instructions, needs a minimum distance from the attach points as the material is designed to stretch. The hardware that came with it is mostly fine, but one of the turnbuckles was seized when I took it out of the package. FYI. I would recommend for the price and convenience of getting delivered!
