These were amazing boots. Especially for the price!I have tried out numerous pairs of boots in this price range, and had grown to expect the soles to begin to come off, or materials to peel away, within a couple of months.As a devoted Pedestrian in San Francisco, with a job that requires me to walk for miles on many days, on city pavement, I was DELIGHTED to have these boots stay together for an entire year mark.Instead of any part of the boot peeling off or coming apart, my miles of walking had simply finally ground through the sole.Just as should happen with any decent pair of boots, eventually.Perhaps a better material for the sole could extend it beyond a year of DAILY use, but honestly, I, And YOU! cannot expect a better boot for this price!Will DEFINITELY purchase again.

I love these boots, they have that fancy feeling to it, wore it for the first time and got compliments in the hood. However I would recommend getting a size up if you feet are a little wide, can get tight. It wrinkles up pretty easily and one point did seem like it could rip, but doesn't (yet). The zipper can get a little frustrating and it does pop out, but it's an easy fix. The material doesn't feel like really leather (as it states) and it feels like it could be ruined in a year or less if not taken care of properly. Everything else about these shoes are great, they fit well and are a bit water resistant from experience. Even if they rip, I'll just get another pair because the price is so cheap. Would buy again.

I waited to review these boots because I wanted to see how durable they were. I purchased these boots because of the zipper closure. Others had reported the zipper had broken or came apart. These boots fit as they should. The zippers perform as they should. The only difficulty I have had with the zipper closures was when I tried zipping them up by pulling the sides together with force. As long as the sides are in reasonable alignment, the boots zip easily. The leather used is very comfortable and yet they have performed very well as work boots. I would not hesitate to buy them again.

I like the Boots, seem to be made well for the price, the fit is a little narrow but will be fine as the leather softens up, they have a light layer of insulation inside and are triple stitched around the heel and toe areas as well as reinforced, great boots for casual wear or light duty work, would recommend.

I wear these everyday. I have a terminal neurological illness and am bound to a wheelchair most of the time. Though I can still walk some and when I do I have to use arm crutches and it can only be for about 10-15 steps, but these boots make my feet heavy enough and grounded enough that they help me walk better. If that's not a testament to the quality of a boot then I don't know what else I can say. They're stylish, the sizing is perfect down to the half size, they're a somewhat narrow boot which I like because they hug my feet, so if you have wide feet I would suggest something that has wide options for you. It's not so much a jack boot as it is a fashion boot but you can certainly use these to get messy in. They hold up well in the rain, the leather helps with that. the fact that all you have to do is tie the boots once keep once sized zipped always and then unzip the other side to get in and out makes them absolutely easy to get in and out of. They're comfortable to wear all day. Not too hot, but warm when it's cold. I'd suggest wearing long socks, but you don't have to, because these don't chafe the leg, at least not for me (but I have always been told I have the perfect amount of leg hair, so if you're a little hairy they might chafe some). But I'd just suggest you wear long socks, I usually just wear dress socks (my illness makes my skin feel pain when it shouldn't so higher quality fabrics are easier on my feet because my nerves are dying all over) or bootcut socks.Absolutely recommend these in any size to anyone looking for a good boot. And if they're still on sale, definitely take advantage of that. They are high quality, tough and take a beating, will last you a long time, boots. I don't just give out 5 stars with clothing and shoes, these actually have deserved it.

These look great and they're real leather which seems uncommon, but they are horribly uncomfortable. there are odd lumps under the balls of my feet on both shoes. They're OK riding the bike, but walking to my office and back has given me blisters. Decided I'd suck it up and try to break them in but think I'm done trying.

Took a chance and purchased these boots in black and I was really disappointed. I wasn't expecting high-end quality, but I was expecting leather as advertised. While the design is nice , These boots appear to be fake leather IMO and one boot contained an embedded blemish that I know would never come out/fade.... Immediately returned!!

While liking the fit and ease of putting them on they appear to be very cheaply made! The inside sole of one boot was full of glue that I could scrape off with my fingernail and the other inside sole was glued in so that the bottom was full of lumps and bumps. The leather was not a smooth leather and when opening the box upon arrival there was already a scratch showing in the leather. Probably defective but not willing to take a chance on how long they will last so not exchanging but sadly returning.

Actual color is dark brown, much much darker than in the picture. Description is just not reliable like their refund systems. Fits like 9 medium width. Most will find that tight. Gearing up to return them and wrestle the sloppy refund system.
