Works great on my Ender 3 Pro's hotend...
I bought this to replace the 40mm cooling fan on my Ender 3 Pro's hotend as I broke a blade off the stock fan. So I took to Amazon to find a 24v 40x40x10 fan that would drop right in. Well, with a little honing, this will fit in the stock fan shroud. The 4 bolt holes are not big enough to fit over the "standoffs" that are in the fan shroud. I had to break out my step bit and drill to shave the mounting holes. After a couple of times, it fit like a glove. All in all, this was a good purchase. Can't speak for the longevity, but the fan is a little quieter than the stock fan.

Not good for an Ender 3
I gave this 4 stars because the fan itself is exactly as advertised. It’s quiet and blows air. It does a great job cooling the controller / motherboard box of an Ender 3 3D printer, but it just doesn’t have the juice to cool the hot end, trust me. Even with PLA, I ran into heat creep no matter what I tried. I almost went gray trying to diagnose my print issues, but as soon as I replaced this fan with the Orion 25db variant, my printer was instantly printing as well if not better than day 1. Orion fans are great, but I would get a stronger fan for your printers hotend

Perfect for Ender 3
These things are near silent and super long lasting. I also haven't had any overheating issues using this for my Ender3 mainboard and hotend.

Pretty quiet
Using this on my Ender 3 as well as the Tornado. Most people buy Noctuas and buck converters. I'm too lazy. If there are 24V fans out there that are similar in cfm and dB, I'm skipping the buck converters.YOu can buy this from Digikey too but unless you are buying more than 3 or 4, Amazon is cheaper with free shipping.

Quite!!
Used this to replace the noisey E3D fan. I printed a new duct to install this larger fan. Absolutely silent! I plan to replace the other noisey fans with this brand.

Great fan replacement for an Ender 3
Great quality fan, been running one for a few months on my Ender 3’s hotend with no issues. Although not loud don't expect it to be completely silent.Just be aware it isnt compatible with the stock fan shroud due to the thickness, you need to print one.
