A great product, smells good, holds strong. My fave pomade

I use only natural or organic pomade, so I've been trying a lot over the past year. I've tried some pomades which were good and got the job done. However, Jovinno has been the best pomade I've used so far. You barely have to use any to style your hair the way you like it and it doesn't leave that oily or sticky feeling which tends to be a problem for natural or organic pomades. You can continue styling your hair through out the day while it maintains the hold just by running your hand through your hair. The most interesting part of all is it doesn't even feel like you have any product in your hair. I don't care for fragrance too much since I rely on my cologne, but this pomade smells so damn good. I don't know what it is, but it just smells so clean and fresh. I'm almost certain my search for the "right" pomade has ended and I'll continue to purchase this. Just as a reference I have medium length hair - it comes down to my lip if combed. Also, this pomade may seem expensive just by the price, but the value per ounce is what you should really look at. The container will last you a while considering how little you have to use to style.

Best gel on the market

This pomade has a good hold, similar to that of other water soluble pomades on the market. The smell is nice, reminds me of water melon. Even the container it came in was nicer than typical plastic containers other pomades come in. Water soluble so easy to wash out. Probably the only downside to this pomade is the price. It is almost twice as much as some others. However, it is 5 oz vs the typical 4 oz containers so you get a bit more.

I’ve used this product for years and have been happy with it. This last purchase was disappointing - the gel just doesn’t hold like it used to. I’m assuming they’ve changed the way they make it.

tried lots of products over the years and this one nails it. Always in shock when reading the ingredients on hair products thinking, how can this be good for you? Finally a product that has only ingredients I can understand and no chemicals! So does it work? You bet it does! Great hold if you use a lot of it, but about a nickel size swipe with slightly wet hair towel dry hair works great for me. I really like the smell and it is not sticky and washes out very easily. I have not had any bad reactions from any of the natural somewhat odd ingredients and that is all I care about. It works. I wish they would make a container that is less than 3 oz so i could travel with it. For now I put some in a baggie which is kind of a pain for when I travel. I also love the jar with the super large top and big "threads" which makes it very easy to open and close quickly. Nice job all the way around. Did I mention it is expensive? Yes it is. But its imported and all natural so I'm ok with that. Plus you don't really use a lot so for me, using it everyday it lasted about 4.5 months.

My ideal hair wax: natural/plant based, matte shine, strong hold. Jovinno? EXACTLY that. I used chemical filled hair waxes for the past couple years, and I could tell it started to take a toll on my hair. Thus, I recently did a lot of research on what to buy next. I am extremely picky when it comes to hair products but this wax exceeded my expectations and I will be a lifelong customer. My hair is fairly thick and is cut and styled in a faux hawk-esque manor. This wax keeps the hair in it's exact place all day effortlessly, without it looking greasy or shiny. Smells great and is soooooo much better for hair than "name brand" chemical filled crap, I can tell within a matter of a week that my hair feels healthier!

Used Jovinno for the past 4 years. They went out of stock recently but was finally happy to see it back in stock. It was until I opened the lid and noticed immediately the change of consistency in the product, scent, and texture it leaves on your hair. It seems like they changed the formulation or really watered it down to save on cost. It doesn’t hold my hair or leave a nice texture to it like it used to. It smells cheap and should not cost as much as it does now. I’d recommend putting your money towards Shear Revival instead. Funny enough I was forced to find an alternative when Jovinno went out of stock and Shear Revival did not disappoint.
