The cards are beautifully printed on quality paper, and the box is a nice bonus. I highly recommend them. (I did notice one reviewer complaining about the color not being as advertised, but can tell you the color absolutely matches the main image. The alternative image with the little hand demonstrating the size of the card shows the illustration much bluer than it actually is, and should be ignored in terms of color expectations.)

Yes, the colors are more muted than what is shown online and the effect is more matte, but computer images benefit from the light of the computer screen. The blue of the sky on the box is a bit lighter than the blue sky on the cards, and I wish the cards exactly matched the colors on the box. Still, I love the silvery foil effects of the tree branches and find the design stunning. Purists who want a totally secular card should note that the tree under the star has red balls on it. On balance I find the card very appealing and the price very reasonable. I'm ordering a second box.

I live in an artistic family that likes to make its own holiday cards. Peter Pauper cards in the nice boxes leave me feeling a little torn about that, lol. These are beautiful- lovely little details, very nice card stock. I covet the boxes. This particular set is a lovely design- better in person even. I also love that PPP gives us an extra envelope, because I know I'll screw up one. Don't we all? My "in-house" artists proved to be too busy this year so I'm a little late getting cards out. With this in mind, I already ordered next years PPP cards. My gift to me.

This is an absolutely beautiful card. But two of them at different years. The keepsake box is very special and I am going to fill it with treasures for my great niece for her Christmas time birthday. The quality, the paper, and the design is one of my favorite. I will add that I have bought five boxes total over the past few years of Peter Pauper cards and will continue next year. They have always arrived in a good shape in the box has never been broken.

Peter Pauper Press has been a favorite stationery company for me for some time. The cards are strong and don't bend easily. They can also last a few days in a snowbank when the plow takes out your mailbox... The envelopes are standard and fit the cards perfectly. The colors on the cards are a strong blue (to my eye at least). The non-denominational message is good for sending cards to friends and family of different faiths and traditions!The box that the set comes in is great. I have a few different boxes from Peter Pauper Press from the previous years' cards that I reuse regularly because they are good quality and pleasant to look at.

The cards are lovely and will be perfect for sending to clients with a nice neutral "happy holidays". Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was that the "reusable keepsake box" arrived in such poor condition as to render them unusable for future projects. I bought 2 boxes worth and both arrived severely taped with packing tape to keep them from opening. I get the idea, but you don't do that to something that is meant to stay pretty. Both were taped in such a way that the ribbon that holds the lid open was almost severed when I had to cut the tape off to open them! One of the boxes was ripped in several places, enough so that I can't even reuse it as an ugly box. At least the cards made it safely, I guess.

Color is misrepresented. The cards don't really have much of a blue look. The sky is actually more of a dark gray. The box the cards come in shows the illustration with more of a blue tint (although not as vibrant as shown with the product description), but when you open the box you will find the cards are a disappointing grayish color. I like the color gray, but it's not what I'd like to send as my Christmas card.

These cards look even better in hand than they do on the sales site. Elegant printing and good quality paper and envelopes. They come in a fancier than expected box, which I guess could eventually be used to store odds and ends or a little kids treasures..
