Cheap remote susceptible to breaking.
Remote control is poor quality. The wheel on the remote snapped while making a turn and is now useless after one day of use. Upon taking it apart for inspection it would appear the plastic flange inside the remote wheel is Made of plastic and susceptible to breaking, very poor design .The car itself seems to be of fair quality for the price.

You get what you pay for
My son bought this with his own money and it's not great. It's cheaply built, the controls aren't very responsive and are either full power or none. The first one we returned when the steering gave out entirely and the second isn't very responsive to steering input either and mostly only likes to turn left in reverse. He hasn't really played with it as a result though he's not indicated he wants to return it. Anyway, my advice would probably be to pony up more money for something a little higher quality.

Nice car, but not durable
This is my second car of this kind. The first one broke because the remote control is fragile, but we were able to solder the connection back together.

Great durability.
This rc is very cool, great for the money! Can go in light grasses, dirt, gravel, sand, and rocks. But a Traxxas or a litehawk would be way better.
