Works as expected and looks fabulous
We purchased a year ago, but due to Covid delays have only been using this stove for about six months. The thing that attracted us to this brand was the simplicity and apparent sturdiness of the product, as well as the counter-depth aspect, which is a little hard to find. Our kitchen is cramped, so if appliances jut out even a few inches things start to get claustrophobic. We have propane and this unit came natural gas-ready. Note that installation is tricky...you will for sure need to hire a professional to install this if you're on propane, as nozzle replacement and flame adjustment is not straightforward. Have it done by someone who has installed Bertazzoni ovens before. In addition, we had issues getting the stove to perfectly align with the end of the countertop. That's certainly not the stove's fault, but if close alignment is your goal then you need to measure carefully and make darn sure your countertop measuring guy knows what you're after.Top burners work as expected, with easy flame adjustment—the two double-ring burners are really handy. We haven't really used the broiler much, but the oven cavity temp matches the dial setting pretty closely. Here again, make sure you get professional installation, as the proper nozzle and adjustment are required. Note this thing is entirely "non-digital"...oven temp is controlled by a rotary knob, so if you turn counter-clockwise to 300°F, you may end up with 290°-310°. There's no timer, time-bake, bake delay or any other superfluous features. The design is about as simple and straightforward as you can get. There is a convection bake setting which we've found reduces typical baking times on most recipes to about half, eg., if the recipe calls for a bake time of 30 minutes, the Bertazzoni gets it done in about 15.When the oven cavity reaches the temp setting, a fan will turn on and start kicking warm air into the room (from about oven handle height). Our neighbors had a range with a similar attribute and found it highly annoying. The fan is pretty loud—wish it was quieter—but as we live north of Seattle, for about 10 months out of the year we find the influx of warm directly into the kitchen a welcome feature. If we lived in Arizona, we'd likely feel differently about that. We have a Bertazzoni vent hood as well, but since the warm air from the oven is shoved straight ahead, I'm not too sure how effective the vent is at ushering warmed air out of the house. The top surface is pretty easy to clean. Burners pop right off to get underneath to sponge clean after spills or to clean up grease spatters. The oven cavity has a couple holes in it at the bottom where you view the flame, and apparently you have to remove the oven door and take out a few screws to remove the bottom liner if you want to vacuum up crumbs and charred food that gets down inside there, so that seems a little inconvenient. I wish Bertazzoni would have engineered this product so you could just lift up that panel and more easily clean the bottom liner and flame box below it.It's early in the life of this stove, but so far, so good. If you're looking for design simplicity and ease-of-use, here it is. If you need bells and whistles with digital readouts and beeps and buzzers, then look elsewhere.

Got the product 2 years ago - have not had any trouble with it - perfectly satisfied. And it does look great.About to purchase a microwave and a dishwasher from the same maker.

Like dating a high maintenance 10, she's here for looks, don't ask her to actually do anything
This range came with a house that we purchased, I was oh so excited to see it and couldn't wait to try it out, but that's when our relationship took a turn for the worse. The first thing I noticed is the door won't shut properly, it stays high on one side, and you have to push it down to which it makes a loud "pop" noise to go back in place correctly. I can imagine the range rolling its eyes and thinking, "I'm not here to actually work, now wipe me down idiot and then away with you!" I'm just waiting for the door to fall off altogether. However, here is where it gets bad, my beautiful range is all gas, the stupid oven turns itself off frequently. It takes 2-5 tries to get it lit and stay lit and then once it's lit it randomly shuts off. So much so my ear now has a keen sense for the whisper of a "click" indicating the oven has shut off. Yesterday I was cooking baked potatoes for a party, anyone care to guess how many times it shut itself off in 1 hour? Ten times...yes, ten friggen times. I grabbed an Amazon box out of the middle of my amazon box pile, because I'm too short to reach the top, and angerly chunked my potatoes in there and went to my friend's house and finished the potatoes in her trusty whirlpool oven.If that wasn't enough let's discuss how it doesn't cook evenly, at all. Forget baking bread or anything of that nature, unless you love it burned on the bottom and not quite done on the top.Oh, customer service wasn't helpful you ask? They know they put misery in the form of a range on the market and they are hiding from their consequences.I'm selling this house to get away from this stupid range...not really, but kinda. So don't join me in my misery, pass this oven over and get you a steady, will be there for you kind of oven, don't even worry about the looks unless you don't cook then grab one of these off eBay for cheap.

They look great- but they are poor quality and the customer service is non existent
I bought a bertazzoni about 4 years ago- not through amazon. They look great- but they are poor quality and the customer service is non existent. The broiler did not work from day one- the gasket is cheaply attached. They are over priced and under engineered. Steer clear.
