I prefer a wider blade for relic hunting. I can cut a better plug and also move more dirt if in a pit. I have been using one of these for years and this is to replace one that was stolen from my friend. They are very strong and not to bad on weight.

This little shovel is light weight and very sharpeggios allowing the user to dig through all kinds of roots with little problem. And it's light weight construction allows diggers to dig sith precision when necessary.

Made in USA and the best shovel I have ever used. I mainly bought it to dig up 2 huge tree roots but have found it has so many uses can't say enough good things about the quality of this tool.

I bought this for use in my metal detecting hobby but have since used it around the yard for numerous jobs. This is a quality piece of work and will last more than a lifetime.
