good skates bad wheel
I just skated today in these and they're very good skates.. they're smooth, fast, and comfortable BUT.. I rode them for about an hour or 2 and one of the wheels is already breaking... it sucks.. good quality skates, bad quality wheels. wheels are expensive which is such a shame.. I just spent $130+ just to have to spend another $50+ on new wheels which is such a waste of money... oh well. "Take on Tough Terrain - The high-density, polyurethane wheels can skate rough surfaces and asphalt without wearing down." = FALSE.UPDATE: All the other wheels are starting to crack in the middle.. it started with one & now the rest are following. keep in mind that I Live in the city and all sidewalks are nice and asphalt is very smooth with no cracks or potholes. Imagine skating on "rough surfaces" like this seller claims the skates can handle...

Nice skates however I suggest wearing a gel ankle sleeve
These are pretty “alright” however the right skate I foun very painful on my ankle. I had to purchase a padded gel sleeve for my ankles when wearing these, because as you can see in the picture I developed a very nasty blister from the pressure of the right skate. The upside is these skates are fast and definitely not recommended for beginners

Worthless junk
These are poorly designed from the bottom to the top. There is no significant padding under the foot so it feels like standing on a solid block of plastic. The laces at the front of the skate are trying to tighten hard plastic so they do almost nothing and leave the front of the foot loose to move around. The middle strap has an overly complicated latch that does not tighten down well and strips out the plastic teeth of the strap before it gets adequately tight. The upper strap is a simpler design that seems to work well enough for tightening however the plastic of the strap is still soft and tends to strip out as well. The shape around the foot of the overall boot he’s also defective, I had hoped that the other reviewer’s comments about the terrible pinching at the ankle and heel area where exaggerated however that was not so. It feels like the pivot location for the heel of the boot has a large lump that intrudes and presses against the side of the ankle and heel. The terrible fit in ergonomics and quality is then matched by equally disappointing durability. On the first time that I use them I slid out which was completely my fault but the middle latch came apart immediately on contact with the ground and it’s over complicated mechanism was rendered completely stuck closed. I had to get out a screwdriver and carefully pry in order to release the strap so that I could get my foot out of the boot when I was done.I have a hard time imagining that I could design a worse skate even if I carved it out of a 2 x 4.

Good value but I swapped wheels out
Wheels too big for artistic skating so swapped the wheels assembly with a friend for four wheel rockered assembly. Ordered another brand with four wheels rockered at 2/3 the cost of these (sent to family in another state for use during my visits there). Boots provide good stability after I bought a better insert to replace the less-firm insert that came with the skates.

Good cheap skate.
Good cheap skate. The only issues, bad cut from sharp edge on frame, cheap bearings. I'm really pushing it to the limit, seeing how much abuse these skates can take. Dirt and gravel roads and some of the roughest pavement on the planet. No sidewalks here. I'll change the bearings and keep going.

Cheap and Uncomfortable
If you're like me, you're thinking of getting these skates to test out a 3 wheel setup. That is all these are good for. Here are some negatives:- the boot pinches your ankle, making it incredibly uncomfortable to wear.- the hardware feels cheap. after my first ride, everything was squeaking. I have no confidence that these will last.- the boot runs short. I'm a 10 in vans/Adidas/nike and these are too small lengthwise.- the ratchet straps at the top of the boot don't tuck in anywhere. So after you tighten them, the ends are left hanging out. They will rub against each other and sometimes get snagged. If you can afford to spend ~$50 more for a nicer pair of skates, I'd definitely recommend that instead of these.

Pleasantly Satisfied
So I was once quite skilled at inline skating at a very young age and it has been about twenty years since I last put a pair on. After four hours on a rental pair I managed to regain most of my mobility but couldn't really do more than struggle a bit to balance as I took my turns. I'm pleased to say after two hours on these I am cruising faster than the folks at my local roller rink and using more advanced tactics like crossover turns once again. These skates provide excellent ankle and leg support and indoor skating is smooth and almost unnoticeable to the feet. However, judging by the other customer reviews on these skates and my own experience in them, you are bound to have a moderate amount of discomfort after wearing them for an hour or so. Of course this is going to depend on your own foot structure, mine pinches pretty tightly against the edges of the arch of my right foot while another review shows a picture of a fellow with a blistered ankle. I did have to take periodic breaks to loosen the boot and relieve the pressure every so often but this is really my only issue with these skates. I have yet to take them to the streets as I am still waiting on some protective padding to show up but I will update my review if I have any other points.Pro tip: Always order a size up!

Work well, difficult to break in
Decent quality for the price. If you just want to get some upper-level roller blades for cheap, these will do the trick. The only thing is that depending on the shape of your foot, they may be uncomfortable to skate with for extended periods of time, but you can get used to them. The foot is made of plastic so I don't know if it's possible to truly break them in.
