Transcend 64GB USB3 Flash Drive
Works great! I use it to play Windows Live Movie output on my Samsung Smart TV. I can build movies at the highest resolution and then put the .wmv outputs on this 64GB flash drive, plug them into the USB port on the TV and play them, all with start/pause control from the TV remote. I get over 20MB/s transfer speeds to the flash drive. Playback is flawless. Other reviewers have called the case "flimsy" but I can't make it flex by pressing on it with my thumb. Other reviewers have called the USB connector retracting mechanism "weak" but I find it very strong - I'm unable to cause it to retract by mistake with high force placed on it. I think what "throws" other reviewers is that the unit is light weight and the retraction button takes very light pressure to disengage to retract. My thoughts are that some of these reviewers aren't very "mechanically inclined" and just don't appreciate a lightweight and well engineered package. To balance the erroneous reviews I give kudos to the engineers who put this flash drive together and saved valuable oil resources without compromising strength of the product in any way. Sorry, but I just can't find any negatives even though I'll disappoint someone with that statement. OK, I've found one negative for that person: Sorry, it will not make your morning coffee or balance your checkbook.

No complaints at all
This flash drive is great. Addressing what others complained about in other reviews, the complaints I confirm are legitimate, but are not to worry about. In my 3.0 ports, I was able to transfer 556 songs (4gb of data)onto the flash drive in 3 mins, and 30 seconds. Half the time it took a usb 2.0 in the same usb 3.0 port. Construction: it is slightly cheap, but the quality still seems nice for the price you pay. I just would recommend you keep it in a pocket of your pants, backpack, laptop case, whatever; and you'll be fine. The lock: when you slide the usb plug out, there is a lock that prevents it from going in when you insert it. You have to put slight pressure down on the slider to put it back in its original position. When I put this flash drive in my laptop, the lock did not fail and cause the usb to go back in like with other reviewers despite the fact that my laptop's usb ports are very stiff and require quite some pressure. It's likely the lock will wear out one day. This is 14.7 gigs (omg not 16????). News flash, but no matter what flash drive or computer you get, the data it holds won't be exact. My mom has a computer with a 1 terabyte hard drive (I'm jealous), and it only came with 918 available. There is a proportional absence in all types of memory storage (do the math if you want). For those like me who like a light to show it is working, there is a rather dim light that shines through the green plastic behind the slider. It stays on while inserted, and flashes when in use. In the end, this flash drive is great and well worth the money. It looks great with shiny black (the ultimate color for showing the most minor scratches :/ ) and vibrant green with gray trim, is decently durable at the price with a lifetime warranty, and most importantly, it works without any problems for a low price. If you buy this, you will not be disappointed unless you get a defect. While I typed this review, my usb 2.0 flash drive is still copying all my songs (backed up my songs onto both drives).

Good performance, but iffy construction
The product perform well. I was able to watch HD videos straight from it with no quality loss or pausing. I was able to transfer 15GB to it in just under 15 minutes on my MBPro through its 2.0 USB port. As for the construction: The plastic case seems kind of weak. The slider is also very loose in the case. The first few times I used it I felt like I needed to hold the slider to make sure that the USB plug stayed out, but later I found that not to be the case. On the plus side the USB plug/port connection is very firm and secure (hope it doesn't loosen up over time, but we'll see). Overall I consider it a good product for the price (only time will tell when it comes to reliability and durability).

One of my favorite flash drives
I have had the 64GB version for nearly two years now and have given it some heavy use. I carry it in my pocket everyday, everywhere. When used on USB 2.0 it is faster than any USB 2.0 flash drive I have used (and I have used a LOT), and when used on USB 3.0 it really flies. It's not the fastest drive on the planet, but I doubt you'll find much faster in its price range. So why should you care about speed? Because most compact USB flash drives have abysmally slow write speeds, and when you get to the larger capacities they can take hours and hours to fill. Now if your intent is to load up a bunch of music that you'll plug into your car's entertainment system and not change out too often, then a slow drive might be fine. You can start your copy before you go to bed, and it will probably be finished in the morning (if you get a full 8 hours sleep). However, if you are an IT, A/V or Graphics Art professional that needs to carry around a large quantity of frequently changing data, most cheap flash drives will not be acceptable. They will kill your productivity (not to mention your patience). This drive, in spite of its bargain price, will not. It's quite fast, and it has held up to nearly two years of pocket carry along with a small flashlight, coins, and other various items.

DO NOT BUY! YOUR DATA WILL GET CORRUPTED!
I am a avid Amazon user, doing much research before I buy any product on here. I looked at the reviews and decided to order a Transcend JetFlash 760 64 GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive 13 Feb 2013, received it about 10 days later. Got one with serial no. TS64GJF760. Worked totally fine for storage of important family pictures. Thank Goodness It worked long enough to get them somewhere else. It just stopped (August 6th) working conveniently after the return date. I'm stuck with a useless drive now because somehow the drive in no longer recognized (under My Computer) and it says that it has 0mb on it under disk management. I was lucky my photos were backed up somewhere else, but this drive is not good quality, at least the 64GB one wasn't. Don't be left with a paper weight and $30 poorer. Take my advice, I know 4 stars looks promising, but you have got to trust me. Do Not Be A Cheapo! Do Not Buy This Drive

BLAZINGLY FAST
This is not only a very nicely priced product given it's size, but it is crazy fast on data transfer. I bought this to hold lots of videos that I can then in turn watch on my Samsung Galaxy S4 using my OTG (on the go) cable. The phone sees it right away and has no issue at all browsing the directories or streaming playback off it. I would actually like to buy a couple more just to have my various collections in my pocket. This is a brilliant alternative to a portable hard drive and SO much nicer and easier to carry.

Fair durability - problem is you don't know in advance how long it will last
Bought it in early August/2014 and lasted exactly 5 years and 8 months, until early April this year. I don't know if this lapse was the intended/designed useful life of the product, but I saw another review giving one star for 1.5 year of life, so 3 stars look OK for me, a bit on the low side but I'm not giving 4 stars for a memory that died on me without any previous warning and almost provoked a heart attack on me. Working for more than five years, a cheap thing like this, is sort of commendable in these times, when even cars start having all kind of problems exactly the day after the standard 1-2 year guarantee expires. Price back then was approximately twice than today, which was OK back then and better today. This is why I give it 4 stars. Storage capacity 32 GB, back in 2014 looked a lot, these days is nothing to be impressed about, 3 stars look totally fair. Easy to use 3 stars, because, right from the beginning, the retractable USB connector was always giving troubles when inserting the memory in a port: it was "too much" retractable at the slightest touch of the port hard edge.

Excellent!
The difference in transfer speed between USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 is a matter of specifications but in real life this Transcend USB 3.0 flash drive moves data at LAN speed which I find quite adequate. I've loaded one of these Transcend drives with an array of applications running under Portable Apps; I take it with me when I'm on the road and also to help me troubleshoot computers. Included in my Portable Apps installation is a copy of KeePass which is the same password manager I use on my desktop computer so it's easy to keep all of my passwords with me when I travel. This Transcend JetFlash drive feels solid and appears to be well made. One-piece construction for a flash drive (no cap to get lost) is, in my opinion, an absolute requirement. In every respect, this is an excellent drive.
