Columbia Steens Mountain 2.0 Full Zip Fleece Jacket

My dad really liked this as a gift and mentioned he didn’t get overheated wearing it indoors.

Normal good quality of Columbia products. Soft, plush outer and zip pockets are a plus.I wear it around the house and out to casual dinners etc.

Perfect light jacket

Evidently, I must love it as I wear it on a daily basis indoors in winter. I have 4 of them, which should also show I love it. Bought #4 as one was two small (I gained weight) and the other two were black. I felt the need to have another color so I went with blue this time.They are not perfect. The zippers & stitching leave something to be desired, but then I have yet to find any better alternative, so I went with it 4 times over and I suspect that I will be buying more of them in the future as the old ones wear out.While not perfect, I doubt you will find a better alternative at a better price than Amazon offers. Sometimes I wish they were a bit thicker. I will often wear them over just a T-shirt in winter and I am still chilled enough that I need to turn up the heat. This may or may not matter to you, as the perfect thickness & warmth will all depend on personal preference and what you happen to like setting you thermostat at.I find that I can wear them for much of the year in Wisconsin, with use from October till April indoors, so about half the year. Then they can be used outdoors in spring & early fall when just a light jacket would be needed. They get a whole lot of use.

I know this purchase was a steal. Not sure why the quality of the jacket was as good as of the many other Columbia procts. I was not sure what shade of blue I was getting but for the price it wasn't important, it was blue. I did like this shade of blue as it turns out. Mine fit perfectly.

Perfect jacket for cold morning. Not too bulky or heavy. Jacket is not lined but still warm but not too warm as a puffer or insulated jacket. Was reluctant at first because it looks like an old man jacket, but then realized I am an old man.
