Compared to my other leather leashes (I have multiple being a dog trainer) this leash's leather itself feels a little on the flimsy side and does stretch which makes me question it's overall integrity. None of my other leather leashes have stretched the way this does. It doesn't appear to be conditioned in anyway so I will have to do that myself. This is also just a straight cut of leather without any beveling giving the leash a slightly harsh squared feeling but should soften just fine after a lot of use.The braid is fine and done right so it won't come apart but is far from the prettiest braid work I have seen. The snap seems to be fine on initial use but also feels to be on the slightly cheaper side. The pouch is kind of pointless in my opinion and I think the company would be better served putting whatever they spend on them into a better quality leather and/or snap.I'd say this is fine for dogs that are already trained or are very easy going. Overall okay for it's price but not great.

its a very nice leash, i have 3 dogs a 35 lb, 45lb and 60lb dog. I can only use this leash with the small one because i am afraid my bigger dogs can break it, because its on the thinner side.. i am not blaming the leash.. my dogs aren't very friendly and have a dramatic reaction to every dog they meet. so i need something that seems much sturdier than this for the two bigger ones. but it works perfectly with the little one.

Love! The leather is great quality, brass clip very nice. I'm an equestrian, so nice leather is important to me. The length and width are also ideal for toy breeds - I have a 2.5 lb Maltese puppy and this is perfect for him now and as he reaches adult size. The price is excellent, I'll be buying a second or third to keep in our cars.

Excellent leash quality, style and construction. I like the thickness, and durability of braided leashes, will never buy unbraided unless it is leather. Will buy this leash for gifting family and friends pets.

It's too short. I wish I had bought it a bit longer

It was labeled as a different color for the Lavien Braided Leather slip leash. It isn't a slip leash, there is no slip ring!
