I will say I was a bit skeptical on how well these would perform but was pleasantly surprised. I have two mini golden doodles whose hair I cut myself. I was using cheap wahl trimmers and scissors to cut their hair prior to these. The wahls don’t cut their hair well and they required a lot of scissor work. The wahls would get hung up easy or not cut their hair at all. It would usually take my 3+ hours per dog before. My first time trying these clippers I was able to trim both dogs in the same time frame. My dogs hair is very thick and curly but fine at the same time. These clippers chug right through the hair with much less issue. The guards don’t have long teeth on them so they can’t get hung up in the hair before the cutting edge contacts the hair. They have a dial power adjustment but I just ran them on full power because their hair was pretty long at the time. They cut well and don’t pull on the hair which keeps my dogs more calm. Also, they aren’t too noisy which my dogs like. I found that cutting with the hair growth initially helps when their hair is longer. I think they will perform even better for maintenance cuts when their hair isn’t so long. At any rate, I would definitely recommend, these saved me paying $300+ for some Andis supras.

We had been taking our goldendoodle to a pet store groomer, but the environment was horrible for her anxiety and it had become a truly traumatic experience for her every time. After trying several groomers in our area, none of which were taking new clients, we had no option but to take on the job ourselves. These clippers were highly rated and priced reasonably, so we decided to give them a shot. She hadn’t been groomed for several months and was so matted, so I was sure that the clippers wouldn’t get through all the tangles. Much to my surprise, they went through her like butter. I couldn’t believe how well they trimmed her! We used them without a guard because of her matting, so I can’t speak to how good they are with the guard yet, although we will use those going forward to maintain her coat. The clippers do not come with oil, but we already had some blade oil (baby oil also works). My husband’s only complaint was the placement of the on/off switch, which is right in the grip area on the base of the clippers. He kept accidentally turning them off. Other than that, we were simply astounded at how well these worked. They were quiet and smooth, and with one of us clipping and the other giving our puppers lots of encouragement, I think we were able to make a dent in her past grooming trauma. She’s 75 pounds, was extremely matted, and we were still done in an hour and a half. I can’t recommend this product highly enough!

These clippers worked great to remove the mats and thick dense coat of my angora rabbit. He hated me trying to trim him with scissors and would not sit still so mats started to take over. The clippers made quick work of it like a hot knife through butter. I am not a professional groomer and this was my first time using electric clippers on any animal so please don't judge my pathetically uneven trim job on my bun bun. For the people having a hard time getting the clippers to cut hold the hair taught while you work the clippers down to the skin then glide the clippers along the skin being careful holding the skin tight. I would buy them again for $54 they are worth every penny. The only reason I gave them 4 stars is because it was not commercially packaged or sealed, at least 1 compartment is empty in the case and the cord looks to have been unraveled at some point (possibly a return??)

This was such a great little shaver! I finished a large 50" round rug for a friend and bought this to attempt some detail trimming. What a difference it made! I was able to detail the entire rug without replacing the blade. Looking forward to detailing my other rugs.

I am awe struck by these clippers, i have 2 Newfoundland, a black and a Landseer. Over the years i have tried every clipper made, still own 2 Whal stable pro, a OsterPro, a Remington and a full size sheep shear. I have spent a great deal of money on all the different cutters and so on, not one of the obove mentioned groomers hold a candle to the Dream Reach !! Not one of the above will make it thru a whole 1 dog without a tear down of the blades after a solid 2.5 hrs run and cut without the comb, free handed cut is how i do it. Not one of the others will effortlessly glide in to the thickest matted crappy part of a animal without jamming or stopping ! Guess what, the Dream Reach will. I just finished cutting both my dogs down, this was way overdue, extremely heavy coat and my very first time using my new Dream Reach. I wont bore you with 2 big bags jammed full of hair but i will say that out of cutting both my dogs not one pass did i have to push it thru, it cuts that good !! I put a couple drops of oil in every 10 min or so and i rocked both them dogs out in 3 hours and it still cuts the same as the very first pass !! Totally amazing product. I would put this up against any thing on the market, oh, and it is whisper quiet and i ran the entire job at 1/2 speed. I want to thank the Manufacturer for making a great cutting tool that made my life a lot easier !! I had no expectations from the Dream Reach, blown away by it's performance.

Changing one star review to three stars 🌟 These clippers kept getting stuck in my dogs double coat of fur, not cutting and kept pulling his fur just like every other pair I've tried over the last 9 years. Im updating because I was able to remove the guard and the clippers worked well. Unfortunately, without a guard, its impossible to make the cut look nice. I noticed the teeth on the guards are close together and once the thick fur gets in there, the blades were unable to move as they are intended to and it would jam and stop cutting. This is a standard guard size and probably has been the issue with all past products as well. I would recommend anyone having this same issues, to find one that has half the teeth and double the spacing. Due to having no guard, it took a long time and the clippers did get very hot.
