Lars' Own Belgian Pearl Sugar, 8 Ounce

This was just what I was looking for to make Liege Waffles. It was great quality and taste. I will definitely buy it again and recommend it.One thing I would not recommend, is the recipe on the back of the package. I made two different recipes with one bag. This one calls for brown sugar and milk. The batter wasn't a good texture or taste. So when you spend money on ingredients and time...I used one from "Butter Baking" and it had water and regular sugar. It was amazing.

Love these in Belgium waffles! They are soft and crunchy and my family loves them! We buy them in bulk!

The product is good but very small.

We use these all the time to make Liege waffles. They are the perfect amount of sweet and crunch when they are cooked.

Firstly, the sugar pearls are spot on. But secondly, the recipe on the back is amazing! I followed that one (I had tried others previously) and it was near identical to the ones I had on a river cruise in Europe. Which, incidentally, is where I was introduced to them. With homemade whipped cream (use vanilla paste) and fresh berries - soooooo good!

When I was Just baking time, I was use this. So gorgeous and lovely.

This pearl sugar is a great price and perfect size. Recipe on the back of the bag made delicious Belgian waffles!
