I really like the shape of this product. That’s why I ordered it. My cats like to sleep on the long cardboard scratchers more than scratching most of the time. However, do not let the picture deceive you! The product is so short in length, my cats can only place a portion of their body on it while sleeping. The cat featured by the seller MUST be a kitten. Even when my smallest cat (who weighs about 7#), stood too far on one end, the board flipped up on the opposite end, almost turning over. I guess I should’ve paid closer attention to the measurements ( and measured my cats), instead of depending on the picture. The price is way too high even though two are included.

Why didn't notice I was unable to spot the dimensions of this scratcher? Why didn't I read the reviews indicating how small this is? Even my small cat gave me a dirty look when I placed it in her usual cardboard scratching bed; she walked away letting me know this is not what she expects. OK only for kittens.

My cat likes it! Took her awhile to warm up to it and she doesn’t really care for catnip in general but prefers silver vine. I just sprinkled a bit over it and a few minutes later she is hugging the scratcher like a pillow. Good price for a pack of two.

My boys aren't too picky about their cardboard scratchers, and they like these. Both for scratching and for furniture. I have big boys, so these are a little small, but they still get used. My only complaint is that the catnip falls right through onto the floor.

My cat was all over these within minutes and are one of his favorite cat items. He likes scratching this better than his scratching posts. They can last a long long time. I've still got the original and that was two months ago. One is still in great shape and one was pretty messed up. I turned it upside down and the cat started on the down side and just continued scratching. So, the price seems reasonable. I have my second order still waiting. Highly recommend... better than your furniture and curtains for sure.

My cats love these. They’re inexpensive enough that we can have 2 in the living room and 2 in the bedroom. They use them several times a day. And as you can see from this photo Jeeves loves laying in them. Jasper our other fur baby also enjoys laying on them. These have saved our furniture. We get their nails cut about every 5 weeks. But these still allow them to sharpen their nails.

This was one of the best purchases for my cat. Do I prefer bits of cardboard to sweep up to having them scratch things they shouldn't, like my furniture? Absolutely. I've purchased no less than 8 different scratchers for my cat and this is the only one he will use. My 4 cats have used scratchers like this before, and love them. They took to this one immediately.

DO NOT BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE ADULT CATS! These are functional and sturdy, but sized only for kittens. My adult cats sniffed it, scratched a little, and one even tried to lay on it for a couple of minutes, but the scratchers are too small for adult cats and they lost interest in it VERY QUICKLY. These only hold kittens. Keep looking if you want something your adult cats will enjoy.
