It was easy to use, it is a thick liquid (a similar consistency to aged house paint, or perhaps like a thin pudding?) and it comes in a bottle with a screw top. There is no applicator so one will need a brush of some kind. I used a clean Q-Tip. I am touching up some work boots and am not overly concerned with cosmetics. I gave only four stars for the "value" portion as I do find the price high for a small bottle, and I also only gave the "durability" portion four stars as I just applied one coast yesterday, and a second today. I have no real idea how it will hold up. However, as long as it doesn't peel off with the first few rain soakings, I will be satisfied. Good luck and enjoy!

The color is more like milk chocolate rather than dark chocolate. If the color matters get the kit and mix your own. My tears were in an unobtrusive place, so the color difference doesn't matter. It does eventually cover the tears and cracks and is soft and flexible. Since it dries so fast, you just need patience in applying the coats. Use a an artist brush.

Used this on my couch. Was not dark brown like it states, did not look good at all. Does not do the job properly

We had a couple of small areas to cover on a faux leather couch. We prepped the surface according to the directions. This product goes on smoothly and it matched well. However after a few weeks the product starting peeling away. It looks worse now than it did before we put the product on. Don't waste your money on this stuff. It won't last.

I have an old leather couch and it had several soft, faded spots. You can't tell at all now. Couch looks almost brand new. It's been a few weeks and still looks great. I have a busy household 7 kids, 2 grandkids, 3 dogs and this has held up.

The color isn’t exactly the color I needed for my couch. I used it about a week ago and it seems to be peeling up already

I was so disappointed to see that my 2 year old leather sofa got its first crack. I immediately hopped on Amazon and found this amazing product. It worked perfect and you cannot tell where the crack was located. My only complaint would be that it would be awesome to have a brush in the lid. I used a q-tip to apply and it worked just fine.

Easy to use. Applied to an old pair of boots. Though it took 2 or 3 coatings to heal the deepest cut, it still looks great after a day of fence building!
