Works as advertised
The product works as advertised.Works with Audi Q5 2013 model. Non MMI that has AMI connection in glove box.Radio configAudi Concert with SD Card and Bluetooth calling and single CD changer.Treats device as Aux connection and adapter pairs via Bluetooth.As soon as car starts auto connects.Have not needed to use usb mode so cannot comment on that.Does not support media info or steering wheel controls. But product description also states that.Need to use external power source as my AMI connector does not supply power.Power cable is long and thin was easy to route through clove box and between trim panels for clean look.Does not disconnect.Car does not supply lighter with power unless started so device only turns on after car starts and does not drain battery.

Make sure you know your specs before placing order
I picked the wrong model so don't know how good it may have been. Delivery was as promised. So all very good overall. My mistake In Ordering incorrect product

Bluetooth so that you can avoid wires --but needs wires for charging
The maker did not think this through. No point of buying blutetooth car kit that itself requires power cables.

This is what you need for bluetooth when theres no power at the ami port
wow where was this when i needed it !! This has worked flawlessly for my audi that does not have power at the ami port. Just add power to this adapter and your golden. I planned on adding a circuit and hardwiring it but for now i just plugged it into a usb power outlet
