This helps so much in determining moisture content in DOT 3,4,& 5.1. I change my brake fluid every three years because of moisture in fluid. Now I can accurately measure the moisture in my hot rods and change fluid according to read out.

Hmmm. Tested several things, including 2 unopened bottles of brake fluid. Opened up a bottle of Dot 3, and it gave a reading of 1.5% moisture, which is in the yellow with an exclamation point above it. I then opened up a bottle of Dot 4, same reading. I guess I will toss away this tool, pretty tough to recommend brake flushes based on it's accuracy. I own and operate a couple of car repair shops.
