DIRECT IGNITERReplacement HOT Rod for Camp Chef SMOKEPRO

Installed in a CampChef Woodwind, 2021 model. The price of this igniter is hard to beat, but it's a bit of a pain to install! That's not a problem with the igniter, it's just the nature of the CampChef. This igniter comes with an extra fuse, which is a nice touch, just in case you have a blown fuse, not a cooked igniter. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't the fuse, and I spent the next 20 minutes on my back taking apart my CampChef. Note: the igniter holder was slightly fouled and getting the new igniter in was too tight of a fit. I just quickly cleaned up the holder with a rat tail file, and the igniter slid right in. Good luck!

Easy to install and perfect fit. Hardest part was getting the old one out. Fit my Camp Chef smoker perfectly

Day 1 and it is doing what it was made to do. After taking my grill apart i see the old one had just came out but at that point i just replaced it. The rod itself is a little shorter then the original one but still has enough to get there. The wire is longer though and I liked that. Opening the package I heard bag pipes play and the replacement came out of the bag wearing a kilt!

Works great. Replacement went easier than I was expecting.

I had the same experience as Classical Mom, igniter diameter too large and got jammed in the fire box. I had to destroy the igniter to get it out. Installation is a little tricky, but you can find videos on YouTube. I’ll buy OEM next time

This was an exact replacement for my Camp Chef Woodwind grill. My grill wouldn't lite and all of the fans were working. I swapped the old hot rod out with this one and it lit rite away. Very happy I took a chance on this vs the higher cost everywhere else

Does not fit my camp chef like advertised. And now it is stuck in my fire box and I can't get it out, so not only can I not return the hot rod, it has ruined my fire box. Very frustrated.
