Leadingstar Women's Velvet Cocktail Party Mini Dress

I love this dress! So, I went with an extra large because I am very self conscious of my mom figure. I saw reviews of the sleeves not being long enough and too tight, but fit everywhere else. Well, typically I wear a large XL. Based off the reviews I went with XL, and the sleeves are too big for me. And they are too long. So I should I just went with a large. I would say it’s probably mostly true to size. Don’t let all the reviews make you size up, where as I am typically a large the sleeves around my underarm and chest area was actually a little baggy. But quality and over all is spot on

I wear dresses to work most of the time. Having bought a velvet dress here before, I was captivated by the model's picture for this Leadingstar Women's Velvet Round Neck A-Line Party Mini Dress. I bought it when the weather was still warm and I've worn it several times since. If you enjoy getting compliments, you'll want this beautiful dress. It happened again last week when I was walking in the downtown mall; a woman coming out of one of the shops said, "I love your pretty outfit!" I took the opportunity to tell her the name of the dress and where I found it. I almost sat with Santa but it was too late for a picture. This dress wraps around you, the way velvet does, caressing you with every move, and laying gently around you as you sit. I'm 5' 7" and 175lb so I bought a Large. In sized dresses and skirts, I'm a Size 14. This is a dress for warmer weather, though, so I'll need to wait until Spring to enjoy it again.

I’m 5’6”, size 8-10, 150 lbs, 34 DDD and this large fit cute, but was a little boxy and tight in the chest, shoulders, and arms. I wouldn’t have gone up a size because it would have looked too big, but an xl probably would have been more comfy. I had to wear a minimizing bra with no padding. The green was beautiful and perfect for a work Christmas party! I felt so Christmasy!

Beautiful dress. Bright vivid color. The material is not high end but it is not an expensive dress either. Fits as expected. I am big on the chest yet it fits fine and flows around the waist. You can easily twirl in this dress. And it is elegant when you pair it with a nice coat and accessories.

This dress is tight in the chest and shoulders and short in the arms. The waist is nice and lose so I wouldn’t want to size up. Came smelling like someone doused perfume all over it. Overall I may keep it because it’s cute even though it’s a little tight.

Zipper broke the first time I tried to wear it, but I am just past the return window so i am stuck with it. Can't seem to contact the seller. it broke on the way to a party! buyer beware.

The dress comes just above the knee. Not too short not too long. It's great except the sleeves are a tad long. Great quality!

I love the style and comfort and perfect for a cold eventful day.
