Easy to install,perfect fit sturdy

I saw the previous review and really could not figure out what is was talking about with regard to filing. Well...the issue is the adapter plate. Mine and probably the previous reviewer have a rounded opening and this inset has square corners...that needed to be removed in order for it to fit the adapter plate. Well, this is why the lord invented dremel. Additionally, I went for this vertical position keyway inset because that was what had been fitted on my door previous. Turns out someone had to manually bend the key to get it to work with this vertical unit and I just was not interested in bending it back. Works fine. The fact that Amazon carries so many odd products like this is just a very neat thing. Oops, I actually had to file the key slightly too to get it to fit...was just a bit thick. No biggie.
