On: holds everything in place. Off: drops even metal shavings
I use this for all sorts of projects. Being able to turn "off" the magnet is more useful then you may first think. Say you get it in a ton of metal shavings. Turn it off and it is very easy to clean it of all metal after. Cheaper ones you have issues getting every last bit of metal off it.Only issues are that the metal it's made of is a little soft and can dent or scratch easily. Be careful with it and you will be fine. Also it could be a bit stronger to hold larger pipe/sheets of metal. Then again for the money it does plenty well. As long as your not expecting to hold a substantial chunk of metal it will do just fine. I'm glad I got it!

Fun, like magic, fantastic gift for curious hard to buy for and people who work with metal.
Fun little magnetic switch. We purchased it as a gift for my father-in-law. We played around with it quite a bit before we actually parted with it though. hahaMy Father-in-law works with metal every day and we thought he might find this useful. Our thinking was it could be a potential little helping hand to hold a couple of pieces of metal together when he's welding. Stuff like that.Pretty cool how turning the switch made it stick and unstick ( technical science-y terms) to metal. Fascinating actually. When it's turned "off" there's no magnetic force, it couldn't hold a key or even a paper clip. But turn the knob and INSTANT STRONG magnetic pull....so cool. It's like magic....

Small / good holding power for smaller pieces
These are small yet very versatile. Not the strongest holding power but for small / thin gauge material they work great. Nice to have a 3rd / 4th hand to help align things - highly recommend them

Great quality but quite small
Depends on your project, but these are quite small. The holding power somewhat depends on the mass of the metal you are sticking to, but overall these are not super strong for average fabrication projects. They are too small to be practical for holding pieces at a proper angle like you would do with a carpenters/fabricators square. They can be good for holding flat bar or angle iron in place for tack-welding as long as the magnet is not relied upon for supporting the weight of the work piece.

Magswitch tools are awsome!
I bought some other Magswitch tools and have found them to be indispensable, so I tried this mini angle too. It is super handy and I plan on getting more of them. The mini is pretty small but sometimes that is what you need to hold the work and still not be in the way. Has a surprising magnetic grip. If you are looking to hold three foot long sections together don't go with this size, it is perfect for clips and pieces like that. Like the magnetic ground clamp that Magswitch sells, when you turn off the magnet the tool drops all the metal filings.

It's MINI
Purchased this not realizing it was Mini sized. My mistake as it clearly says so. However, I still like it for what it is and will definitely get use out of it when working with smaller pieces

Awesome
I use these a lot. Great compromise between size and magnetic strength. These are great for setting up corners and tacking welds. Magnet isn't so strong that it disrupts tacking but will hold metal in place on a table and light pieces. Work better in pairs.

This is the title.
Oh yeah!! These are great! They do a pretty job job holding stuff where you need. They are pretty strong. They are small though, so they are not so strong that you can't pull them off...And you can turn them on or off, totally sick duder!!

Tres bien
Correspond à la description, la puissance de l'aimant est variable en fonction du métal ce qui parait logique. Un bon produit.

Strong but compact
Very strong for its size, great for smaller parts. Can get two and double up for heavier parts.

Pequeño pero con fuerza
Que pasada, que fuerza tiene el pequeñín, facilita mucho el trabajo, y se nota que tiene muy buena calidad, me ha llegado muy deprisa para ser un producto americano..

Baby you can turn me on..............and off!
Pricey little magnets but quality through and through. Ultimate precision can be achieved with these little suckers. No more trying to move a magnet a couple of mm and then unintentionally pulling the whole fit up assembly apart by accident! Super accurate fit up with these - line the metal pieces to be welded in position, then simply place magnet butted against said pieces, turn knob, job done. No further adjustment or fiddling necessary! Good amount of grab for the size of them and great for collecting swarf from my pillar drill table too. Turn the magnet on, hoover up all swarf, place over bin, turn magnet off, watch it all drop. No more pulling and scraping off swarf as with a traditional magnet!

Schöner kleiner Magnetwinkel
Sauber verarbeitet. Die Abschaltfunktion erlaubt eine einfache Positionierung von delikaten Teilen.Im Vergleich zu "normalen" Schweißwinkeln ist er echt klein. Ein zweiter Blick auf die angegebenen Maße ist also angeraten.
