Q: can use water to make it more manageable, specially when is kind of clump?

The gallon I got was not grumpy. It worked perfectly as it came from the bottle. The glue is water soluble so a little water might help but too much would make it ineffective in my opinion. Sounds like your gallon got frozen somewhere along the line. I would buy another gallon and make sure it pours like it should or return it. Good luck.

Not sure exactly. I used it to make an outside table 5x6 still have over 3/4 gallon left over
