While I have been making art for a long time, I have never really learned how to care for my brushes. For some reason, now I want to and so I looked into the best practices for caring for brushes. I am using my old brushes and this soap makes the bristles look brand new. I am so pleased!!! I just cannot say enough good things about this pink soap. In order to make the soap last a bit longer, I first rinse my brushes as much as possible to get whatever paint is in them, out. And then I put them in a plastic cup that has about an inch of this soap in it. I swirl the brushes in it and then rinse them well and let them dry on a rack that I made for my brushes so that they drain facing down - to ensure that the tops of bristles that are in the ferrules dry out and so that nothing gets caked and dried in that area. The old paint is coming out of those ferrules and these beat up brushes are looking like new. When I do get some new brushes eventually, they will get the ‘pink soap’ treatment! So glad I found this stuff.

Cleans much better than liquid dishwashing soap and the brushes tend to hold their shape much better, especially the sable brushes.

Pink soap is great i highly recommend it, cleans up oil paint especially if your messy like I am👍

Just as effective as it was in art class in the 1990s.

I think Dawn detergent does a better job of cleaning. Purchased this because it is suppose to have a conditioner to get a brush back to its original shape...still looks like it came out of a dryer.

I bought this cleaner to use on hobby paintbrushes that have acrylic paint dried on. Using dishwashing or hand soap wasn't working. I bought the Mona Lisa soap and they came clean. I had to use fingernails to scrape, but I got all the paint off without chemical smells or irritating my skin. I would buy again.
