Bought this to install in my entry to keep my kittens from charging out the front door each time it is opened. Definitely does the trick! Eventually they will be able to jump over it; I hope by then they will no longer bolt out the door.Gate was very easy to assemble and install. The gate is sturdy; not too heavy and not too lightweight. If I had to cite something I would do to improve it: make the slats closer together (so kittens can’t wiggle through) but that’s just me.I am very happy with my purchase!

I'm using this gate for my office door and I absolutely love it. It's able to swing both ways and the weighted closure works perfectly. Also love that if you push the gate all the way open in either direction it will stay open. It also has the widest opening of any other swing gate that I've purchased. Highly recommend!

Best gate ever! Using this with a stair banister kit and needed easy open gate because our family of 5 is constantly up and down the stairs. It’s very easy to open and swings shut automatically. It’s so sturdy and way better than the regalo gates we purchased. Soon I’m going to replace our regalo gate too. The gate fit our banister at 41.5”, and it’s so sturdy! The handle is easy for my kids age 6&7 to open and for myself one handed. The auto shut helps prevent accidental opening.

Update: The current product is not the product I purchased. I purchased the pet gate by Lemka, not the baby gate.----------This pet gate was easy to set up. It comes with an extension, and while I expected the extension to attach or screw into the gate, it does not. It simply fits into the desired end of the gate and the tension when the gate is set up keeps it in place. The end pieces that touch a wall are the same way, so you have to hold them so they stay in the ends of the gate while they are tightened. I was able to set up the gate myself, but another person would be helpful. This gate has worked to keep our older cat out of a certain area. The confident cats can jump over it. We have had it set up for a few weeks, so I don't know how well it will work in the long term. I am overall satisfied with the purchase.

This gate was rated high and has been everything advertised. I wish we had this type of gate from the beginning. The only problem was that the gate as it came was not wide enough. I happened to get a left over extension from another gate. Wish company would be more clear on the different sizes available or sell extensions at a reasonable cost. Also, the gate is very nice now and works well. I don't know how it will last in the long term since the construction, although adequate, is not heavy duty.

I purchased this gate to keep my baby boy and my dog out of kitchen. So far, it works great. I have the gate on there super tight and no issue at all with my walls . The gate is easy to install and it looks very sturdy.

This was pretty quick and easy to install, we chose to not use the mounts that you screw into the walls, so its really just pressure mounted directly to the wall. Gate opens easily to either side. Seems sturdy and the white goes nicely against my white walls. We use it to keep our dogs in one area of the house and it works well for that purpose.

I love this gate. I got a German shepherd puppy that cannot go in certain rooms. These were a life saver for a senior..mad it so I didn't have to step over. Door opening is easy too. Plus if you want to leave them open (when dogs gone) you can leave them open.
