Update: The seller sent me a second pair and notified me of changes to the material for future production. This time around I took care to use the cloth and tighten with a quarter (see pics). You don't need to tighten these very hard, it's not like they're going anywhere; you might even consider using a dab of blue locktight. My pics show the damaged unit, the replacement unit and the cloth + quarter technique I mentioned. It was very kind of the seller to send a new set and I applaud them for their service!Scored the first one I tightened immediately, even using the cloth that came with it to protect the screw from the screwdriver head....... Quite disappointing! But - that's *MY* fault. The second one went in just fine because I took mega, extra special care when tightening it. The aluminum is the softest aluminum you've ever handled and the paint WILL come right off if you're not careful; hence the 3 star rating......

I was a bit concerned by the reviews talking about how soft the metal was, and how it was impossible to tighten these down without marring them. I had no such problem. I simply used a wide screwdriver, and the included cloth to protect the screw slot. They tightened right up, with no problem.

Screwed right onto the OEM mirror holes. Ony hand-tightening was required. Item as described.

Nothing too exciting but they do fit the hole as promised and worked OK. Machining isn’t phenomenal but it’s fine.

These are pretty horrible. So soft a non marring plastic flat head screwdriver literally dug through the ‘metal’ like a hot knife through butter. The black coating is also so thin they scratched bits of it off en route by rattling against each other. I didn’t even bother trying to return them to the seller - instead I put them with the rest of the rubbish in the bin.

Wish it was a torx bolt, but works just fine

The description says "Come with 2 pcs Aluminum Bolts in Thread of Normal (Regular) and Reverse", but I received two right-handed screws. The bag they came in also says "right hand". Sending these back.

Parece un detalle si más , pero marca mucho la diferencia en la estética
