Absolutely brilliant microwave with 2 shelves. No other microwave on three market with this time saving feature. Needed a push button micro for arthritic hands and this works great. Easy to use and not too big for a compact kitchen.

I chose this model microwave oven from Daewoo because of the removable extra shelf which allows you to heat two shallow dishes or plates at the same time, or one much deeper dish. The idea works well in everyday practice. The specified power output is 800W and, although this is less than my old combi oven (now defunct), I find things heat up very quickly. The oven makes suitably loud beeps when it's finished its job, which is good if you're in another room when this happens.I haven't been a fan of turntable microwaves because they usually restrict the amount of containers you can heat at the same time. They also restrict the shape of the container to no wider than the turntable. But with this Daewoo model you can overcome this limitation by putting a wider dish on the shelf, whilst also heating a smaller dish on the turntable below.The oven comes complete with mains plug, glass turntable, roller guide, metal wire shelf (which sits on insulated supports inside to prevent arcing), full printed instruction manual. The black finish is smart and matches my dark granite worktop.(The interior of the oven can take a dish 28cm wide x 25cm deep x 9cm high on the shelf, whereas a dish on the turntable cannot exceed 25cm diameter x 6.5cm high if the shelf is fitted. With the shelf taken out then the height of a dish on the turntable can be up to 17cm high.)The controls are very easy to use, with everyday simple heating just a couple of button presses away. For more sophisticated heating using weight and timing I also found the controls simple to work out. Once you've weighed the food to heat and determined its type (e.g. bread, soup, vegetables, meat, etc.) it takes just a few presses to get things started. The control panel shows you what can be heated in each of the Autocook/Reheat/Defrost modes, so it's hard to make a mistake.I have often used microwaves to reheat cold cups of coffee, or cooled plates of food and this oven does this very efficiently. Defrosting is very simple too - just choose from meat, poultry, fish or bread - input the weight, which can be in 100g, 500g or 1000g units to get close to the weight you want (e.g. 800g of meat requires 1 press of 500g and 3 presses of 100g) and press start. The oven automatically works out the correct time for the weight you set. I've defrosted a whole frozen chicken this way, covering the wings and parsons nose with foil to prevent overheating. The results were good, which meant I didn't have to put the frozen bird in the fridge overnight and risk parts remaining frozen.I haven't tried the Auto-Cook mode yet. It claims to cook a baked potato, which will be interesting as there is no external heat to crisp up the skin of one. A steam clean mode will automatically boil 200cc of water in a cup to soften any food deposits stuck to the oven's interior.The instruction booklet which comes with the oven is well written and covers everything I would need to get the results I want. There are some recipes, cooking charts and guides and plenty of stuff about defrosting. It's impressive, if rather cheaply printed.My only real quibble with the design of the oven is the turntable, which is easy to knock off its 'roller guide' when you put a dish on to it. If you haven't noticed doing this the oven will start clunking inside as your dish scrapes against the sides. This is an annoying design fault and means you really do have to pay attention to making sure the glass platter is properly centred before closing the door. It's fiddly to do this as well. The glass platter needs deeper grooves for the little wheels of the roller guide to make sure it sits more securely.Another minor moan is that the oven has very shiny feet, making it easy to move on the work-surface when pressing buttons. I fitted some small self-adhesive silicone pads to stop this.For the price I think this is a well-designed oven and excellent value. It doesn't take up much space and looks attractive. The power is high enough for most cooking tasks. It's easy to clean and simple to use.

It's a lovely little microwave. Does what it's meant to, has decent settings, and I like tgat if you close the door it'll go into sleep mode between use.

Everything is fine: easy to use safe energy, good size I love it!But the plate ALWAYS slides off the rail!!! It’s really annoying

Very quick to cook and the duo plate warmer is brilliant. The only thing I'm worried about is the outer casing gets hot
