This leash is as described. Excellent when using on two small dogs. I would not recommend this for large dogs due to the two separate lines are not super long. Well made. Lock can be difficult to undo. But easy to figure out. Great product.

We bought this to take my 3 year old and 13 year old dogs together. It does as designed but one thing you don't consider is if your dogs will work together on the leash. If one wants to go potty the other will not wait for them and yank the chain. In our case this is typically the younger one yanking the older one around who just ends up peeing on themselves or having to poop and walk at the same time. The chain works fine, but it gives the two dogs about 3 feet of separation. Works as designed, but something I didnt consider when I bought it.

Review for Medium/Large Size LeashI had high hopes for this leash. It had excellent reviews and I thought it would be excellent for my new dog- a 32lb Australian Shepard mix.It seems very heavy duty in terms of the internals- It's heavy in your hand and somewhat hard to carry. I've been using it for about two weeks and while it certainly is up to the task with my dog, my wife complains that it is hard for her to carry in her slightly smaller hands. Our dog hasn't been through obedience school yet- so she pulls a lot during walks- and my wife has complained that its hard to keep her grip on this leash.Something both of us have complained about- it often jams when you try and retract it. Rather than using a string, this uses more of a flat tape-like material as the leash lead. Unless you are really careful in retracting it- it jams at least 2-3 times each time we take our dog for a walk- and must be pulled and played with in order for it to become unjammed. This is super annoying considering that our other leash that we use for our smaller dog has never jammed in the six years that we've owned it. That leash was a lot cheaper- about 1/3rd the cost of this leash. Unfortunately, that leash couldn't likely hold my new dog.One last thing- the medium/large version of this leash says that it will hold upto around 100lbs... I'm not so sure of that. I probably wouldn't recommend that you use this leash for a dog that is over 50lbs.I had high expectations considering the cost of this leash considering its cost. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if the extra cost over the ones sold in big box stores is worth it.

Good product overall. Really good for my 2 Shih Tzu dogs. Like the concept and nice large handle. They also do not get tangled together which is so great!

I like this leash. It was hard to get used to the different lengths for each dog, but it worked out fine. The only issue is that the black plastic covers that go over the end connections never stay in place. They just ride up the leash.
