This book pulled at my heart!
Aristide, and Eden were on the verge of a divorce before they had a car crash. When Eden woke up in a hospital bed, she found out that her husband was in a coma. Right then she knew she loved her husband. She knew she was going to fight for him. She was not allowed to go to his bedside, because of her own complications. After two days she was allowed to see him. He had just woke up. Aristide remembered everything about his life. Everything but his wife. Eden fainted after she heard the words Aristide spoke, "Who are you" She remembered saying, he doesn't remember me, right before she blacked out. This is a book about second chances, and finding love all over again. This is a emotional journey between two lovers. It wouldn't be a good book, without someone to hate. Kassandra is that person. Kassandra is Aristide's personal assistant. She wants Aristide all to herself, and tries to break up his marriage. She is by his bedside for the two days that Edna can't get out of her hospital bed.If you want a romance that will touch your heart, this is one you should read. The couple went through a lot of struggles, had to get to know one another again, and found the love that was burning between them. Aristide was afraid to say the words "I love you" before the wreck, now he is more afraid of losing the women he loves. By the end of the book, he vows to show his love to her every day for the rest of their life! His endearments to his wife like agape mou melts my heart. I love a good Greek romance, and this book did not disappoint!

excellent, gripping read
This is an excellent, gripping read. And indeed, I too, am surprised to say such a thing of a Harlequin romance which is normally a nice guilty fluff read. It was worth every cent.Eden was hastily married by Aristide when she became pregnant during their hot and heavy affair. Although she has declared her love for him, he, typical male, has not once pronounced his feelings for her. Unsurprisingly, this leaves her feeling rather insecure in where she stands in his affections. Especially when he devotes a lot of time to his company, and at the same time with his rather georgeous personal assistant, Kassandra.Eden issues him an ultimatium in the car, which unfortunately and naturally, distracts him while he is driving and they run into an accident. Aristide is injured and loses his memory of her and the car accident. As he slowly comes to, he is attended by the ever constant and annoying presence of kassandra (who is conveniently his childhood acquaintance) as Eden is stuck in bed trying to recover from a near miscarriage of her second child. Kassandra drips poison in his ear and Eden finds herself trying to fight for her marriage and his affections. Could she win his heart when he has lost all of his good memories of her? And what is to happen to her and her unborn child?Excellent plot premise, excellent writing. Might have gone down the incredibly cheesy lane, but the author handled it very well. I couldn't stop reading once I started as I anxiously wanted to know what would happen. Some may have found it frustrating that Eden didn't from the start just refute everything Kassandra said. But I felt that Eden's actions were rather realistic as there are times when one knows that no matter what one says, it's just going to make the situation worse or one would just come off as defensive. I also liked it that the hero and heroine weren't acting totally unreasonable or out of line (neither were trying to be delierbately cruel or mean to the other), they were just trying to cope and work through a very trying time.

I Was Only Going To Read A Few Chapters.......d;)
Okay, so I got sucked in. The h was strong and feisty, she loved her husband, but wasn't prepared to take a back seat to the H's PA. They had issues in their marriage that needed working out, and the accident and H's amnesia compounded the problem. I spent the first 50% of the book wanting to smack the H for being mean to his wife, nice to his PA, and an idiot for listening to his PA regarding his wife! Finally, he wised up, started listening to his family and saw that his wife was a sweetheart. From that point on, the H was a top notch guy, ready and willing to right his wrongs. The author does a good job of drawing the reader into the story and becoming emotionally invested with the characters. I was thoroughly engaged and couldn't put it down.... d;)

Wonderful love story!
This is such a good story, very intense and romantic. I couldn’t put it down. I wanted to slap the wannabe home wrecker myself when the h did it! Page after page of such intense emotions and complications to unravel. Highly recommend this author. I have read many of her stories and this one is my new favorite.

Very good book
Thoroughly enjoyed this book. The other woman was a nightmare. The H was a good guy but with his amnesia, he forgotten his wife. He didn't cheat on his wife but was manipulated by his PA and friend. The h didn't give up on her marriage. Great ending to the series.

This one really tugged at my heartstrings
I love Lucy Monroe's work. Her books always envoke so much emotion. My heart literally "hurts so good" in many of her books. Her heros are always slow to realize how they feel about the heroine, but always make up for it once they do. This book dealt with the popular amensia plot, but Monroe handled it very well, putting her own special touch to this much used plot. The only reason I did not give this book a five is because the heroine, although very likable, is almost too giving and it made her appear one dimensional. The heroine was written to appear almost perfect..... beautiful of course, involved in children's charitable work, a great mother, great daughter in law, sweet as sugar, yada yada yada, but in the end, also rather weak. I would have liked to see her be stronger, more determined to stand up for herself and not be so much of a martyr.

Great second chance story
This was a truly heart felt story of how miss communication can break two people who truly love each other.
