Great quality
I was very happy with quality and finished edges. It came in plastic with instructions on use and care. Its recommended not to wash the couche because it creates wrinkles. Suppposed to allow flour to build up into material to make it more anti-stick. I found it worked well right out of the package. Love that is natural flax linen (imported from France) natural and unbleached strong sturdy for use in baguette proofing

Outstanding bread baking tool!
Prior to using this couche I would carefully fold parchment to try to acheive the same function. The couche is functionally far better than that, achieves better bread crust, and will probably last for years. I'm throwing out a lot less parchment paper, so the couche is paying for itself, and I'm baking better bread. Win win!
