Looks great and the quality is very very good. Soft warm liner and water proof outer shell is great. For me, the sleeves are a little long and the back across the lower shoulder is a little tight. I think if you tighten the wrist velcro straps down - the fit in the arms would be great but taking the jacket on and off without releasing the wrist velcro is impossible. I just worry about wearing out the velcro if you are constantly adjusting it. I've worn it with a base layer fleece or sweater and it is definitely warm. I love the style and functionality of the pockets but it can be a little tight fitting...not enough for me to return it but just good for you to know. I am 6 ft 220 wear a 44 long suit jacket and ordered an XL. I think this jacket really is made for sailing in cold weather/water and not necessarily for winter wear. If i were sailing in cold weather and water and needed to keep my core warm and dry with a light mid-layer - this jacket would be 100% perfect. The fit in the sleeves it tight and the seam under the armpit is tight but once the jacket is on you have full unhindered range of motion with your arms which is probably right if you are sailing. This is made for sailing. If you are out in winter weather and needing a warm water repellent jacket I would also recommend. I've gotten many compliments on the style and i do wear it very often.

Love this jacket. I have used HH outerwear since early 90's when I worked in Alaska so I am familiar with their quality. I get many compliments on this jacket. I got the navy. Looks great! it almost looks black but there is a difference between the 2 colors. They both look good, I just decided on blue. I have 2 other HH jackets. I have broad shoulders so I went with an XL (I usually get Large in Clothing). Fits perfectly for me. Super sharp jacket!

Nice jacket, taped seams with fleece liner. Zippers are not sealed. Warm with good breathability, no hood but raised collar. I ordered the navy blue, which looks almost black in most light. Plenty of pockets inside and out, with a clear pocket on the back for a team identifier or place for your ID ( in case your washed overboard? ) overall very nice for the price point, but it's not a hardcore offshore jacket.

This is just what the boater needs for those cool days on the water. Weatherproof and lined with a fleece in the body of the coat. There is no fleece in the sleeves which is best. Without sleeve-fleece the jacket slips on over other sweaters or sweatshirts with no issues. Love this jacket.

I'm in DC so its pretty cold right now and I have to say this jacket keeps me warm, its light n weight, just a cool jacket, everyone ask me all the time where I get it from!! I love this jacket!! A must buy and it was cheaper on here than on Helly Hansen website!!!!

True to size adjustably cuffs and waist are nice features.Inside and outside phone pockets very useful, good quality zippers.

The jacket is everything I wanted it to be for my upcoming trip to a rainy Victoria, BC. (Disclaimer: I am a fan of HH). It looks terrific and the quality is great!Watch out the size though! After reading other reviews I decided to go 1 size up (XL vs my regular L) and I'm glad I did. It fits perfectly if you wear it on top of a thick shirt or thin sweater. The only downside is: the sleeves are about 1.5" too long (i'm 5'11"). You can't really hem them because the logo on the left arm is too close to the edge. The good news is: the velcro strips allow you to tighten the cuffs as needed and I think that should do the trick.

Great jacket. XL fits well with a jumper underneath. Easy to dress up or down and keeps the rain out like a champ.
