Asteroid Goddesses: The Mythology, Psychology, and Astrology of the Re-Emerging Feminine Paperback – August 1, 2003

The best and only truly excellent about the asteroid goddesses. Others have noted that this book focuses (from their perspective - too much so) on the 'big four' asteroids: Ceres, Pallas, Juno, and Vesta. I'd argue instead that fully understanding these ladies in and out is required knowledge before you move towards throwing 10's and 100's of extra points in a chart. The mythological component is strong and well-researched, the interpretative material is spot-on, which is not always the case in Astro texts. A book I use nearly daily, so much so that I may have to buy another copy soon!

So much information that is mind blowing. Demetra explain this topic like no one! If you’re looking to learn more about asteroid in astrology, this book has it.

This is the BEST book hands down about asteroids in astrology in my opinion! As for astrological rulerships, I have always thought that Ceres rules Virgo and Pallas rules Libra. This book also mentions these zodiac signs as being potentially ruled by certain asteroids. It has definitely made me think! Well written and very comprehensive!

Amazing. This book is essential to the study of astrology as it answers so many questions about how the divine feminine plays an integral part in natal chart interpretation. Demetra and Douglas have done an amazing job writing this book. So much knowledge. Do yourself a favor and get this book. Highly recommend it.

This book is written very well without being overly whimsical or losing any information. It really packs the punch. I feel like I am transforming my knowledge of astrology with each page I turn.

I loved this book. Definitely an important astrology book I'll refer to again and again. Can't wait to read more Demetra George works. Sorry for my lacking review. I just really loved this book and if you're interested in learning more about "The mythology, psychology and astrology of the RE-emerging feminine" then you should probably read this book!

Interesting book, lots to absorb, but worth the read.

Demetra George truly did her homework on this one. I reference it often on the big four asteroids (Pallas, Vesta, Juno and Ceres) and the mythology surrounding the names. Understanding the ancient stories and help one understand how to apply it to the signs in your own astrology chart. It is golden.
