Q: Is this drawing table can be used as a easel? Like standing up?

Never tried it. Only use this table sitting down on a stool with board at 40 degrees to the floor This answers all my drawing needs today. I used to stand at a vertical easel while drawing in a live model art club for years. My opinion now is if I wanted to draw or paint on a vertical easel I would use one

It did not. It came with a wooden t-square.

Q: Is the table surface suitable for drawing directly on a paper?

If I am understanding your question correctly, yes. The table's surface is very smooth and you can adjust the angle so that it is a comfortable drawing surface. I like to draw and paint standing up and have the height adjusted for this but you can also set it so that it is a comfortable sitting height.
