Im unable to say that this panko product is vegan as I always take the new package and transfer all of this awesome fresh panko into my qt size foodsaver vac seal bags, as I live here in the NE Jax Fl area and we have insane high humidity % nearly the entire fiscal year, and from June to late Sept, we are in our dog dags of summer, and then the panko is ruined in less than a hours time. but no, I throw away the outside wrapper for this panko bread crumbs, but I have ordered this large bag of panko from this company many times and I have had excellent fresh quality and never had a bad born on date either. it's a excellent quality with awesome freshness and a killer taste, just too keep the dang humity and moisture out of it, or it's ruined aml phil l

I bought this recently and the best used by date is Jan 2021. Many people transfer the crumbs to ziplock bags for storage and some have said they freeze it to preserve it. But I think I will use it up without any problem.
