Stanley 1-11-221 Slim knife Blade "No.5901"(50 Piece), Silver

Good quality blades in a shape/size that's not all that common these days. You can find generic blades for less, but I've had consistent good luck with these, both in terms of sharpness and longevity (these blades tend to bend rather than shatter, and I really appreciate that).

Bought these to go with the Stanley knife I ordered! They are very, very sharp and last a good while!They are nice thing is you can use a leather strop and hone them back to high sharpness many times before you even need to think about swapping out a new one! In fact I only ever swap them out when one gets chipped due to a careless cut in my part or cutting really hard material!There are 50 blades in a box and that should let the average user a long time, especially if you keep them home sharp!Made in England!

These are good blades.They fit Stanley 0-10-598 Utility Knife (foldable)They do not fit Stanley Pocket Knife with Rotating Blade (10-049)

These are the GB made blades. According to the experts these are greatly perfered over the US made ones.

Love this knife for layout of fine woodworking. Blades come razor sharp and are really cheap, they can also be sharpened quite a few times. Buy the big pack, and you’ll be good for decades!!

These are really sharp from the factory.But they really sharpen up good, too!So they start sharp AND I can resharpen them as needed.The knife is a bit clunky but I don't know if it's just this one item or if it's all of them.I have to be very careful when I close the knife because it's *very* sharp & a little dangerous to close.But the blades are *very* sharp so it will work as a making knife, a la` Paul Sellers.

These blades fit well in my knife.

I strop these blades before use, giving them a deadly sharp edge.Cuts smoothly, carves paper thin and with a very thin blade I can do very smooth and tiny detailed cuts without too much pressure.
